Was assuming they would be closed
I did as well, but I checked their page yes and they were operating as normal, there is a no to call to be sure ahead of going into town.

Need to find a photocopier in Galway city ? just need to copy a few pages ...some place that would be open during the day

A couple of Supermarkets have Photocopiers I think. From distant memory, Duggan's Renmore ...any other suggestions?

Might not be an option, but would taking a photo on your phone work instead?

Maybe a hotel reception might be willing to help out?

    Thanks Guys. Got sorted.

'Chat r Net' on Eyre st. was closed, like I expected it would be, but actually got a member of staff in the Post Office to do my photocopying for me. Full marks to the helpful staff

I believe that the electrics bit, where they sell radios, is closed.

Would you be as fast ordering one online? Sometimes Dunnes have a telly, wonder if they might have a radio?

I threw out two radios recently, with cassette players!
Used, perfectly good, but obsolete. I'm sure there are loads out there that people want to get rid of

Stick an ad on adverts/freecycle etc

    Hi all,

Moving into a house in Galway city soon & need to arrange my household bins soon. Seen on Galway City Council of four different bin providers:

    1. Barna Recycling
    2. The City Bin Co
    3. Walsh Waste
    4. W.E.R.S Waste

Anyone have any experience with using these that can offer some insight? Which is cheapest, easy to deal with, most reliable etc. Thanks for any help!

Used Citybin in the past and WERS now . No issues with either

We are with City Bin. Very happy with them. They send a reminder text the evening before collection and always leave the bins where they found them not in the middle of the road like some of their competitors.

Anywhere still open that's selling gym equipment (preferably weights)?

Thanks for the suggestion. Although I just looked on their site and they dont have much of a selection of weights. Maybe they're sold out of other stock?

So I'm still looking for suggestions! Does anyone even know if Lidl/Aldi would have weights (such as 10kg or heavier dumbbells)?
