Some are and have been offering a click and collect service

Thanks, I’m looking for garden compost and neither Woodies or B&Q seem to be offering click and collect.

If anyone knows of any garden centre open this weekend or offering click and collect I’d really appreciate it if you could post the names here.

Looking for a garden shed, with a metal/steel roof

The shed can be timber, but the roof must be metal / galvanised metal / steel.

I asked SteelTech in Kilcolgan, they don't sell them.

I was in aldi this evening to do a food shop and seen a lady leave with about 6 big bags of compost. Could be worth a look in your local one. Their specialbuy stuff was all outdoor and garden stuff lately. We bought an outdoor fire chimenea wednesday. Loving it.

What are their roofs made out of as this is the spot i would have sent you to?

I ordered this a couple years back:
    https://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/6554543.htm

Needed a place to store the kid's bikes. Can fit 3 full size bikes plus some extra garden bits. That said the labour to pull out a tree and dig down in the root/rock infested ground 2 feet to create a foundation and then fill with gravel from a quarry nearly killed me. The shed itself just took a day to erect. I can vouch it would have been much easier to assemble with a helper as it comes IKEA flatpack style.

There were a good few sizes available if I remember right.

I just bought components and built a PC but can't get Windows booted on it. Just wondering if there are any computer repair shops open in the city centre, or anyone that specialises in this area?

I know it's not a great time for it but I was hoping to get some design work done on it, working from home with the work laptop which just isn't powerful enough for Illustrator etc.

I think Laptech on Eyre St are doing repairs. Check out their FB page.

Local company O'Brien's Timber Products offer metal roofs as an add on extra for their sheds.

Their shed prices are on their site, you need to ring for metal roof info.

    An example: http://www.obrientimberproducts.com/product-details.php?c=2&c2=3&pl=16

The O'Brien product list and styles look very familiar, from my visit to the SteelTech depot in Kilcolgan.

O'Brien website say their products are on display at SteelTech yard in Kilcolgan.

It seems that SteelTech are selling the O'Brien timber sheds.

Pickings are slim. I got some 00, which is very close to strong flour, in McCambridge’s last week.

Total Produce, where I work, stock a lot of different types of flour.

Ring in an order and the lads in office will gladly sell to you. Especially in these times. We stock white, self-raising 16kg & 25kg & 8x1.5kg. Strong 16kg. Cream flour 25kg. Plain 16kg & 8x1.5kg. Wholemeal 16kg & 25kg. Gram flour 2kg. Cornflour 3kg. I'm sure you can buy a single or two of the 8-packs (8x1.5kg).

Anyone know where I could get a couple of pages printed on the westside of the city given the current restrictions

Anyone know where I can get a mass card. I usually get them at the Abbey but that's closed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,276 ✭✭✭Cheshire Cat

The newsagent next to Dunnes in Westside sells mass card and I would be surprised if other newsagents didn't sell them too.

Garden centres like Woodies are still open. Try ringing them.
Note, you're technically not allowed to go out and the guards may nab you.

    Try O’Briens in Mountbellew.

According to their website Woodies stores are not open and they are not currently doing deliveries https://www.woodies.ie/storelocator/
