The problem is most of them don't bother to clean up. As far as Irish men are concerned cleaning up is a waste of drink money and drinking time. They can pull regardless of what they look (or smell) like so why bother wasting time on personal hygiene.

We ain't seen nothing yet. Wait till water charges come into force - then the full filthy peasant will come out in every Irish man!

Jesus, off to personal issues with that...

Thank you sorr! We are a peaceful tribe of turnip-headed, GAA jersey-wearing hunter-gatherers and don't receive many compliments from the likes of Yeronner. We'll remember you in our prayers, bejabers! :)

    NO.

How self obsessed would you need to be to believe Irish men are the ugliest going?

I think yous are quite fetching.

As an American I strongly disagree with this

Irish men aren't ugly. They clean up very well - Colin Farrell, Michael Fassbender, Pierce Brosnan, Killian Murphy etc.

Well that's a ballbreaking post if I ever read one.

"Most" men are borderline alcos and have poor personal hygiene?

Same here. The sexiest man I've ever seen is an Irishman.

You're rated on your picture taking. Most men here aren't vain enough to get the right angle and doll themselves up for a selfie.

All that matters is how you look in motion.

I always find these polls to be stupid. I don't mean to offened anyone but I think irish men are a lot more masculine compared to their Eurpoean counterparts which plays a big part in attraction

I've always figured my own excessive handsomeness would skew the average a lot higher. There must be somebody really ugly out there normalising it.

Irish men have a lot to give in terms of personality and good nature and judgement should not be made purely on looks alone. Its those qualities and the character of a man that are important.

Agreed, alot of european men are very feminine looking with perfectly coiffed hair and smooth pretty hands. I don't like the sissy look give a rough and ready gaa playing Irishman whos a bit of craic anyday :)

Did we actually need a poll for this?! , just check the polls out side your houses these days, the heads on those politicians: Vote 'Swollen Spud Face', 'Inbred GAA Head', 'Forgettable Featureless Face', 'Adult Boy-Face Syndrome', eye sores.

    Sums it up

....in fact im pretty sure the meme TrollFace was based on an Irish face, honestly.

Well... In my own situation here I'm a good example of a healthy,un-ugly Irishman, not wishing to blow my own trumpet or anything

Remember this is from a site for lads & ladies who think they're georgeous.

There are few people more insufferable than a good looking person who knows it and keeps going on about it.

The UK & Poland also fare badly. I think it's just about the fact that you're average Irish guy can find himself a gf or bf without resorting to this particular website.

Also bear in mind that they're probably trying to drum up business by playing countries off one another...

I find that quite depressing to read, considering I'm British. :(

All three countries scored the same (if you'll pardon the pun).

I do think though that the Irish have a serious problem with lack of self-esteem as a nation.

If a survey like this were giving French people a similar result, they'd just conclude the website was clearly in need of new glasses or not worth even saying 'bah pfft!' about, then write an article about how they're the sexist country on the planet slating the website.

Where as in Ireland, we obsess about what we think other people might think about us and then get all OCD about it.

I've got a picture of myself somewhere I am happy to share with the world, (it was once used for my Facebook profile) and I was going to show it to everyone here so that they can give me their personal opinion on my appearance, but I'm not sure if that is allowed. :)

I've been in Birmingham for the last six months, and the lasses here aren't a patch on Irish women. I was back in Ireland last weekend and just sat in Stephen's Green in the sunshine for a couple of hours, watching the world go by.

Nothing in Brum is a patch on anywhere else! It's one dreary depressing city.

I was never in Birmingham,is that where the Bournville factory is?
Birmingham produced the band UB40 as well.

Don't forget a tongue like an electric eel. :pac:

Only on Hollywoods. We don't want the Fire Brigade to have to get involved at such a sensitive stage :D

Polls like this are just plain stupid. You can only judge each person individually.

I can only assume that Teddy doesn't like pubic flossing :)
