Don't think there is a 6 btl deal (apart from usual 5%)

There is a 3/€25 on selected wines and it is on the homepage.

Is it drinkable? Whats it like? Its not remarkable value- unless its a premium product.

Yes it's premium stuff, made in New York.

    Found a fairly unbiased review.
Between this and other reviews- concensus seems to be pay the extra couple of quid for a 'premium' brand.

    Tesco

    Guinness / Coors / Heino, 24 x 500ml for €30

Basically €10 for 8, which especially with Guinness is a pretty good slab offer in the absence of a national holiday.

Graham Norton Sauvignon Blanc in Tesco, it's always been €12 in SuperValu with exclusivity, Tesco now sell it and it's on 6 for €50, original price €12 x 6 is €72 (take 5% off this for buying 6 is €3.60), then deduct the €3.60 from €50 is €46.40 for 6 bottles of excellent wine, or €7.73 a bottle. Get in.

    Until July 2nd

Others are 6 for 50 on same deal

15-year old Glenfiddich - Amazon have it on special- and available on 'click-and-collect' for anyone visiting any Sainsburys/Argos over the next few days. Sterling £29 a bottle. Far nicer than the 12, 14 or 18 year old versions- apparently because its aged in cognac casks. Well worth it. EUR62 in the Irish Whiskey shop on Dawson Street.

Edit: if you have prime membership- use code 10FOR40 for another tenner off when you spend 40 quid- perfect excuse to get two bottles, instead of one........

Not any better imho than the Breysers or St Etienne in Aldi which are cheaper at normal price than the Perlenbacher is on offer.

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.
