Gardening with my 4 year old. I've never planted anything before or trimmed hedges. It is actually very therapeutic and I love teaching my daughter about how things grow. She is very excited too. It isn't going on the beer like most other 25 year olds are doing this weekend but I'm really happy and content doing something so simple in the sunshine.

My weekly happy post. Heading to my beautiful bed right now and not having to set clock for ten past 6 in the am. Instead I have it set for around 10.30am. Aaahhh such bliss. Looking forward to a lovely sleep so much. Goodnight world.

Jesus, today has been one of those great days that would put a perma-smile on your face. Nothing particularly great happened, but everything that did happen was nice and enjoyable. And there is still a few hours to go!

Walking on the beach barefoot, with the waves lapping at my feet. The sea sparkling in the sunshine, gorgeous.

I started listening to an self-help audiobook for the first time ever recently. Used to think they were very hokey and pointless and, you know what, about 3 hours in and I've made a lot of realizations and discoveries.

The beautiful clean feeling in the air after the thunder and lightning earlier. Oh, and the smell of the rain on dry ground. Can nearly hear the grass and plants growing after the rain!

Looking forward to those 40 minutes on the bus home listening to whatever songs I like and just gazing out the window and allowing my mind to wander.
