    I forgot to take the bins out for collection last week so had to put some bags in the shed temporarily. They collected the bin today yay! Sad I know but I really am trivially happy about that :)

    When you're going for a long hike, and you put the tent up just in time to watch the sunset and drink some hot soup... love that feeling. Life seems so simple and peaceful. :)

    Sitting in the library in WIT with the nerves of exams piling on top of me - then a local school choir arrives and they're now singing Christmas carols (or hymns, I don't know) and now I feel less stressed. :)

    A milkybar yoghurt for breakfast, just because, fúck the diet.

    Waking up to find my little dog sleeping beside me with her head on my pillow, her big black nose in my face and her gorgeous brown eyes gazing adoringly at me. (If a human did that to me in my sleep I'd find it really creepy!) :P

    Nearly time to give my Dad his post office book that I found during the summer and have been secretly squirreling a few bob into every week for him.

    Frantically searching for our old tom cat outside in the wind and rain, worrying that he has come to some harm, and then finding him by chance curled up in a dressing gown in the hot press. He's no fool! :)

    Batch toast with loads of real butter and bitter marmalade and a big mug of tea.

    My sister who was living in a hotel for ages was told she's been approved for an apartment today. My fella's mam won the jackpot in the bingo last night. Couldn't be more happier for both of them :)

    There's a Chinese restaurant somewhere in Mayo that shut down, got taken over by a religious order (I'm really not sure which) and turned into a church. Outside they have a sign that says "Now Serving God". Makes me laugh every time I pass by it.
