Steak, salt, pepper, mushrooms, garlic butter and potatoes.

That carbonara looks delicious, I wish I appreciated carbonara more before being diagnosed with my egg allergy.

Moroccan-style meat balls in a spicy tomato sauce with lovely fluffy couscous.

It's a new recipe for me, and it's lovely.

Sounds like something I'd try. Care to share recipe up the random thread?

It's very similar but not exactly. I got mine from MummyPagesFood, don't know where they get their recipes! ;)

Just modified the cooking club recipe using less butter and adding maple syrup instead of the sugar and wholemeal peanut butter. Turned out great :)

I was in the mood for some pudding today. So went to the shop after work, bought myself some clonakilty pudding, black and white.

Fried them up with some mushrooms, mangetout, and hash browns, then devoured some peas, broccoli and cauliflower :o

A spicy pho with chicken, broccoli, kale, red pepper, chilli and thinly sliced garlic.

Tonight we had a simple homemade curry.

Chicken, tinned tomatoes, onion, peppers, chili powder, yogurt and lots of garam masala.

    Almost felt like a takeaway.

Tonight was mashed spuds, a mushroom and whiskey sauce and beef medallions from Aldi.

    Last night was Lamb stew.

Just read Jamie's recipe. Sounds fantastic, will definitely be giving them a go soon. How did you adapt it for weight watchers? (Mrs Gloomster used to bring home those WW recipes and they all had one in thing in common - tastless!)

Just a few swaps really, fried in fry light, used a sandwich thin instead of the brioche bun, used a slice of reduced fat cheese, smoked bacon medallion, and used lighter than light mayo for the lettuce.
It was all these, just lighter alternatives.
Hubby reckons it was better than Eddie rockets. I'll take that i guess!

Starter of moules marinere. We never cooked mussels at home before but will definitely, definitely do it again. Lots of garlic, wine, butter and cream!

We went to Neon on Camden Street last night - really tasty and super value. We got chicken satay skewers and crispy calamari for starters, then I got Pad Thai for main and he got red curry with chicken. Recommend!
