Slightly of topic for Sam but Formolo's national champion jersey was photographed yesterday and may give some indication of Sams kit for the rest of the season

I know that the italian cycling federation impose stricter restrictions on what trade teams can do with the national jerseys than cycling ireland but will be interesting to see what the kit looks like when Sam next lines up at the London classic

Can't have orange on the Irish kit though, technically, for political reasons. CI are a whole island organisation.
Just discovered this getting my own national champs club kit last year.

Nicolas Roche's jerseys (Sky, AG2R & BMC) had orange on them.
Not on the body, but on the sleeves.

Sorry, I'm unable to post a link, due to my stupid.
Edit. able to link this one.

Was going to say the same, all of the guys have had tri-colour bands on the sleeves. Must be just the main jersey but it's still a bit of a contradiction.

Yeah they're not allowed to do that but if CI don't object it stays.

With so much suspicion surrounding performances by DQS I honestly hope Bennett does not sign for them. Poison chalice.

    Who holds suspicions of them?

    Who holds suspicions of them?

Everyone that was surprised by JA’s stage win yesterday. Take a look at forums such as bikeradar or the comments posted on cyclingnews.

Ah I don't give that much credence at all. Keyboard skeptics want something to shout about. If it wasn't him winning it would be the margin ineos won it by.

Today will tell a lot his best finish on a HC Cat stage was last year at 14 mins. But I think there's nothing to see here

There's 2 types of people on Cyclingnews comments:
"Sky/Ineos are all drug taking, cheating backstards who are ruining cycling"
    and
"Every else that is not Sky/Ineos are jealous and/or anti-english and are drug taking, cheating backstards who are ruining cycling"

The point remains. Going from no scrutiny to full on scrutiny as soon as he starts winning in their colours.

Sam's Irish champions jersey finally breaks cover. I suspect he'll have different branding on it soon enough but it would be fantastic to see the win in this jersey sooner rather than later.

He's down for , London Classic, Binck Bank and La Vuelta next month so hopefully we'll see a win in it very soon.

Don’t think he’ll be in Spain unless he has resigned

Is there a reason why Nico or Dan aren't included?

In all honesty they probably declined a place.
Wouldn't suit them after a hard TDF as well.

Euro's are 7-11th August and Vuelta doesn't start until 24th August.

They are both listed to do San Sebastian next week at the moment according to procyclingstats.
