I think quite a lot of the streets' residents and non-residents have gone out with Maria over the years. :)

According to wiki it goes like this:

    Tyrone
    Jason
    Nick
    John Arnley (Toyah's fella)
    Nick
    Tyrone
    Charlie Stubbs
    Liam Connor
    Tony Gordon
    Jason
    Marcus

Shows how jaded the writing in Corrie is at times when all they can do is split couples up and put them back together a few months later.

Is that not mirroring real life. It happens with a lot of couples and either they stay together for good and all or they have a final split.

Yes back in the day when he had a different face, body and personality (and if it were even possible less acting ability!!).

Who cared about Adam Rickitt's acting ability :P

How many people in their early 30's have had 8 partners?

Depends what you mean by partners? Lots of people I know would have had a couple of longish term relationships preceded, interspersed and succeeded by several shorter term ones.

8 six month relationships would equal 4 years in relationships, not a huge amount between the age of 16 and say 32. Some could be intense two month relationships, others lukewarm 6 month affairs and more of them year long relationships going nowhere.

I don't think she's gotten through that many for real life - onscreen though it's a bit yuck because she's tripping up over their old girlfriends/wives etc every day. I don't think that would stand up in real life because the tension level would make some of them crack up. :D

Steve could give her a run for her money although at least most of his have the decency to leave the street when they break up.

Eh no I don't think so...Most people in real life don't just do the rounds of all their neighbours for their relationships. Most normal people meet partners through work, socialising, etc not by just dating every male in the same age group on their street and then putting them on a rotation so that when they've dated them all they start back again at the beginning (even if the person is now married or even gay!!).

They have ITV 2, 3 and 4 so why can they not move football to one of them?

It's on for an hour tomorrow 7-8pm

Was it? Then why the f&^k am I only hearing about this now. I've not been living under a rock for the past week, why did I not see anywhere an announcement saying, by the way there will be no Corrie on Friday and it will be on Sunday instead.

I am at letter-writing levels of pissed off now. Not only did I spend 15 minutes of looking for Corrie on Friday I have now missed its postponement on Sunday.

ITV have 3 other channels it could have been shown on and TV3 had to come up with something to show instead. Get your act together, Granada/ITV. I am sure soccer fans will move to ITV2 for a game.

Its on ITV + 1 at the moment, syklops, I'm just watching now. Anytime I look quickly at Karl's buddy, I think he is Tommy.

Found it on the TV3 player. Even so, I have my own rhythms, one of them involves Corrie at 7.30. I know I might sound like Roy, but that how my life works.

On Roy, feck. They're not making it easy for him are they. Is this the lsat we have seen of Haley? Quick, and not drawn out. Died on table. That is, unfortunately, the best we can hope for.

I don't think so. From what I've heard it's going to be an emotional exit for haley (think Alma x 100!). Looks like it will be a quick in and out on the operating table as they realise the cancer is inoperable. Already dreading it. But at least it might be some decent writing. So lazy and irritating lately.

Brain of Britain Jason sussing out Karl? Please

Ah in fairness Karl spelt it out for him! He didn't really have to suss anything out :D

And Dev heard the last threat so he knows it wasnt Jason making stuff up. As much as a comical character he usually is, I think if Dev puts his mind to it he could play a pivotal role in the next few weeks.

Not everybody in the UK (or Ireland) has ITV 2, 3 and 4. It's annoying but that's the way it is. Football brings in big bucks for them in advertising etc.

Really really wish Hayley wasn't leaving. :( . She is a great character. I never felt the story quite worked about her having been a man...she and Roy are a great couple, and have had some good storylines. Now poor old Roy will be alone. It was well done, showing Hayley with the wedding photo in her hands. And the earlier scene when the surgeon asked if they had any questions, poor old Roy blurts out a question about keeping knick knacks by her bedside... I think we will have a tough week in Weatherfield. :o

Why could Roy and Hayley not have moved to surrey where there was a steam train museum and they were going to run the cafe there. Leaving Roy alone is just torture to him the character and us the audience.

Why does Kylie look so incredibly white? I don't understand it.

I think she just looks extra white because we're too used to watching characters like Tina and David. Kylie simply appears extra pale compared to their orange glow. :pac:

True. Tina, in particular, is ridiculously orange.
