    Lunges

Is there a best way to do them? I drop forward and hop back up pushing with the leading leg. I imagine that gets tricky as the weight increases

    <Insert "That's the point" gif here>

Most important is to step forward far enough that your leading foot is ahead of your knee. Keep your body bolt upright, and try to push through the ball of your rear foot for as much of the lift. A good lunge is a controlled stable movement so you stood have a broad base throughout. That's my take on it anyway, I think lunges are underrated.

John Haack could set some big numbers in the 83s at the USAPL nationals in a couple of weeks.

Hit a 298kg WR for the squat in the world's and here's 312.5kg in training at 86kg.

Managed 150/100/180 @ 72kg at a mock meet on Saturday at Revfit. First time lifting under those conditions and 6 months removed from lifting at that kind of intensity after a long and terrible cut. Well pleased. On to actually lifting grown up numbers next.

got back into the gym after about two months of no focused lifting, tested my 1 rep max on squat and deadlift and my 3 rep max on bench. Happy to say there was no major decline in any of the 3

I was down at the IPO Charity comp in Limerick on saturday . wasn't lifting myself but some great lifting going on.

They had a proper raw class .. no sleeves, wraps or wrist wraps .. quite interesting.

Sean Hoey managed a 310kg DL at 98kg and just missed a 327.5kg on third attempt .. 305kg squat with sleeves too in the Masters 1 section.

they also managed to raise over €12k for charity .. Crumlin hospital,

you'll bust past that old deadlift PR in no time... once we get ya low bar squatting the squat will fly too :)

..bench? well benching sucks and is a long term grind no matter what you do!!!! :D

It's basically like drinking a can of worms. ****ing vile. Protein milk should be chocolate and chocolate only.

Grabbed one of these the other day on a whim. Lovely stuff. Didn't check the stats but I'm guessing about as much sugar as a can of coke. Tasted like melted ice cream.

It was tasty and only 1euro nom slurp nom

Aldi also have rolls of blackboard paper, very handy alternative to a permanent chalk board/whiteboard.

Looking a certain way isn't as important as having a great heart and loving who you are inside

Taken from the caption of one of the most crudely photoshopped fitspo pics you're likely to see on Instagram :pac:

    It's chronic

My Protein sent me the wrong order. Massive bag of diet whey and a shaker. Hopefully they will let me keep it in addition to actually delivering what I wanted.
