Looks like not written in stone for now. Insurance droped from 1k to 600eu. So will see how it goes for here. Might just go half year in and then cancel. We will see.

*Just looks like Misses shadowhearth does not put mazda for the rest. :o

Just so you know, If you cancel, you lose that year's NCB.

Errrrr, I walked 17k today carrying a bottle of water. I've pulled a groin muscle, have blisters as big as my fist on my feet and am currently enjoying red wine to ease the pain.

Mind you it was nearly all uphill on a steep inclined as I walked up a mountain to prepare for the Pyrenees section

    Consider it done

Fun fact, there's a saying around here, that people learn how to learn how to drive a tank before they can drive :pac:

Maybe, depends on what I'm after hitting haha, I live across from the curragh, so I can see the training centre from ym house, so I see all that jazz all the time, great entertainment sometimes

I don't think they do tours, but there is a museum which is pretty cool, and if you know one of the locals ;) hint hint, you can get shown around the camp itself, personally i think it's an absolute hole, full of very very valued members of our community, but sure swing by one of the days and see for yourself

Anyone ever have any valeting work done by clean car and how did they find them? I've bought plenty of products from them and Larry is always a pleasure to deal with and provides me with sweets:)

I'm picking up a my new car Monday week and was thinking of dropping down the Tuesday to get a proper wax job done (haven't booked yet).

Had a spin in it the other day and I'm looking forward to it now.

New car, would you not take great pleasure in waxing it yourself or are you looking for a really good job done for the first one and go from there?

Personally I'd rather do any of the oily dirty work than wash the car, I dunno why but I'd rather a blown headgasket than tar on the paint lol

Good job and go from there is what I'm looking for. I also absolutely detest polishing the car. I do it every now and then but not that often. When I do do it I do it properly but I'd like to see the results of a pro for the first lash.

It's a new car so I'd rather it clean in the hope there's nothing wrong with the oily bits:pac:

The poster on here with the ridiculously clean E90 (Paddy something) seems to get a fair bit of work done there. I'd imagine it's a fairly ace job alright.

However if it's brand new there shouldn't be a mark on it, if it were me I'd invest in some excellent wax (AG HD Wax) and some sealant (Jetseal) and run over the car myself. It should be clean enough that it will only take a few minutes anyway.

Means you also have the wax and sealant for future jobs as well.

I have those products, but I want to treat it to a first class job as it's new. My aim is to use Chemical guys H7 weekly for top ups and do monthly jobs with jetseal. I hate claying so etc so don't mind them doing it even when new as although there isn't a mark on it, it arrived with a protective layer on certain body parts. They cover them up a bit too much for transport and there will be residue.
