Just finished my first day at work, very long day, started at 5am!

I started a job yesterday too. Kind off a spur of the moment thing they were really busy and needed someone so how long it lasts is another thing hopefully ill get a few weeks at least out of it it would be great. I've learned an unbelievable amount in 2 days. Hope it works out for you anyway.

You too. My job is pretty much on the same grounds as yours as i could just be there for a few days or be there for a few months.

Anybody know here what can the guards do to you for not displaying an insurance disk? ( Driving a car under tpe when there isn't an actual policy on the car).

Produce evidence of insurance (your insurance cert, not the disk) at the station within 7 days isn't it?
Tpe is only for cars that you don't own though.

Should be fine. Just get it confirmed by your insurance co. that its 100% ok to do so.

I've always carried the cert in the car. Much handier to show the Garda there and then

I got this one for 112$ which is under 100 euro and is very good (you can see samples in this thread, not the latest one which is a different cam)
    http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/214758499.html

Full HD + 16 GB card

You might get stung for duty though...

Next time that happens, point them to s69(1) RTA 1961 which grants the guard the power to require production of the cert at a station only if it's not produced on the spot. If they ask for it and you have it on you, the don't have the power to compel you to produce it later!

when in that mood, I find nothing works. But thanks for the pointer.

Looks like not written in stone for now. Insurance droped from 1k to 600eu. So will see how it goes for here. Might just go half year in and then cancel. We will see.

*Just looks like Misses shadowhearth does not put mazda for the rest. :o
