Surely it will only truly be pushing the boundaries when you get one of them running on used oil from your local ITICA chippers.

That'd be the old Xantia he just got rid of :p

Ah.... so you're playing that card. Torque dyno competition at the next meet? (If ye petrol bmw owners see fit to talk to us "misc & others" next time :P )

What's a lot of torque? Mine's petrol and has 420lbs/ft.
If I may interupt the handbags.. I just want to let everyone know my 2nd last diesel had 630ft-lbs of torque.. but then I got sense and got a fast petrol. :D

Come for a spin in my car and I'll show ya linear power delivery! No lump here ;)

Lmao... linear from <1k up to nearly 5k revs. Better than having to rev the nuts off her to get peak torque. This is why I prefer fast daysuls to fast petrols for every day driving. More useable power and torque.

In the over-taking lane on the N11 Northbound up behind a 2002 M3. He pulls over eventually and I accelerate hard, he does the same otherwise I'd have blown past him, he's unable to pull away until reaching 120km/h (:pac:) and then eventually I go past him. He gave us a thumbs up too which I thought was cool of a BMW driver...:D

Clearly he must have though we were in a four cylinder job...;)

Does a crack in a bumper mean new bumper or is that an easy fix?

Depends how deep her pockets are. ;)
Nah though, fixable, it will need to be painted anyhow and a bodyshop could definitely do that work. There is a good guy in Celbridge if you are anywhere near there.

Anyone know how to turn off the reversing sensors on an E46?
