Hopefully it plays firm and fast, it was way too soft in 2012.

I think Rahm could be a good shout.

Gone for Fitzpatrick , Hatton , Berger all at 22s , and Wallace @ 50/1.. EW the lot 1-8 places.

Links courses someone said - I reckon the Brits be good at those type of courses...

Is that for this week? Eagle Eye above was referring to the venue for the PGA in a month's time.

In saying that I actually think those are good picks for Harbour Town this week, Fitz in particular. Best of luck.

Think Matt Fitz will go well here. Funnily enough I've a sneaking suspicion that Lowry could go well too despite all the upheaval in his camp.

In Austria Sam Horsfield and Wil Besseling are my picks.

Small each way double on Horsfield & Lowry

Not a clue about Golf; but fek it, it'll be on telly (I would imagine), so a few days entertainment (hopefully :p)

Miss the shops being open - could look at the RP, and get some inspiration from there. A lot of people slag that paper off, but I don't care, as long as it has the form in it.

The price of it is the biggest sickener. Hard to justify paying €4.20 or thereabouts for what only contains 60/70 pages sometimes.

    Anyway, the pin landed on:

    Gran Canaria Open
    Horsfield 16/1 , Kitayama 20/1, Schwab 22/1 , Sullivan 20/1 . All EW 1-7 plcs.

    Zurich Classic
Strange one this. 2 players playing together apparently. I guess how well they get on together, or how relaxed they'd be playing as partners matters a lot. Hard to know about any of that. Went for:

    Willett/Hatton 22/1 , Bradley/Steele 25/1 , Frittelli/Streelman 28/1 , Kokrak/Perez 33/1. All EW 1-8 plcs.

    16 ew dbles too.

I've done Catlin, Higgo, Campillo, Nicolai Hojgard and Lombard in Gran Canaria.
Catlin obviously won last week and seems totally focused on playing his way into the PGA Championship, Higgo is massively talented and played well last week, Nicolai was better than Rasmus as an amateur and I've been waiting for him to show some form which he did last week and Lombard had a great round last Sunday which suggests he's getting over his injury.

On campillo FRL, lombard and dunne EW, RCB straight.
    Hill FRL too.

Niall Kearney with a 64 round today ! I had never heard of him and see he has been a professional since 2011 . Seems to have only played a few tournaments over the years and has earned really nothing on tour ..
So hoping he can get a nice paycheque this week for himself.. Anybody any info on him ?

Turned professional in 2009, immediately after his appearance in the 2009 Walker Cup for GB&I. Got a full challenge tour card for his first full season after a impressive showing in '09 European tour Q-School.

During 2014 and 2015 he had his best performances on the Irish PGA circuit and won the lucrative PGA Finals in Turkey which got him into the likes of Wentworth for the PGA Championship and the British Masters in Woburn.

He has also been plying his trade on the Asian Tour and the PGA Europro tour throughout the last few years or so with limited success.

Niall's biggest strength is his ball striking. He doesnt hit it a million miles off the tee but is deadly accurate with his driver and his irons. In 2019 he finished in the top 50 at European tour Q-School which got him into some European tour events and full playing privileges onto the secondary Challenge tour.

Great to see Niall playing well and a strong finish in Gran Canaria will do wonders for the Dubliner.

Great weeks work for Kearney as tied 4th in Tenerife and a nice pay cheque of €51k.

In his 3 tournaments played last 3 weeks he has earned €71k so hopefully he can get playing more regularly and start making a decent living from the game.

    Hi guys.

Does anybody know of a site which you can bet on specific players to have a hole in one on the major golf events?

I done it on paddy powers in the masters but I haven’t seen it on any site since.

    Thanks

Checking the 2012 final leaderboard and 7 of the Top 10 were from Europe. Mcdowell, Harrington and Louis finished in top 20.

Don't see thst type of European domination in major in US.

I know Louis is SA but has good links form too

How is Paddy playing actually? It's a good few months ago but the last i heard was he was playing decently. Could be a small e/w bet for first round leader maybe at big odds

Harrington's putting is fairly dismal recently.
Still wont stop me putting a euro e/w on him at 500/1!

Heard it's windy (about 15 mph) over there (where exactly I don't know :p) , so went ogling 'who are the best golfers in the wind' :pac:

Found an article from about 2 yrs ago, and picked every golfer mentioned that's taking part, that has form in the 'wind stakes'

Was about the Players' Championship - a different comp. , but regardless; It'll do for me, who knows nowt about golf... Apart from the possibility of a couple of days quality entertainment at the backend; if have a few in with a shout, that is :D

    The article I'm on about:

    https://rotogrinders.com/articles/searching-for-a-specialist-the-players-championship-2960089

The 'Wind Bit' is about half way down...

I was tempted to look at both the threads on here and do everyone's picks, but that would have been over thirty in total :p, so decided to do my own 'research' to taper it down to a more respectable amount :)

    All EW 1/5 1-10

    DJ 16/1
    Reed 30/1
    Tony 35/1
    Paul Casey 50/1
    Jason Day 80/1
    Hideki 33/1
    Si Woo Kim 70/1
    Harris English 100/1
    Willett 200/1
    Jimmy Walker 500/1

I couldn't see any of the others from the article mentioned; else I'd have also done Kelly Kraft , Sergio , Alex Cejka , Nick Taylor , and Tyler Duncan.. :D

    Besta luck everyone :):)
