No not all Liverpool. I detest them and the media's love of all things red. Or maybe I am just a bitter blue. It wasn't bad to be fair, I felt it would turn into a love fest but it never materialised to the extent I felt it could.

    I really enjoyed blindboy today.

Ya, he's very interesting. I liked his mini-story about Paul O'Connell and the tennis ball...

Jimbo's new pod is out. Would love to know how it all went down. Barry seemed super bitchy about it on FW last week.

Couldn't find it on Podcast Republic either, but sometimes it takes a few hours (in my experience).

The bank holiday has me behind on my listening, but it's a good week for my podcast play list.

Totally football is good. Fw is ok....Probably rate TF above FW now. Players chair is out...Deffo getting a listen, enjoyed mondays sc pod too. Otb back with the football show as well.

Football with Ken still number one choice for me, but where the sc gaa pods don't gold me, I have 3 options to listen to instead.

    Gonna be a good season.

Oh and totally football was searchable for me on Podcast Addict. Think it indexes the new podcasts once a day, hence whey there may have been a delay in searchability.

Cringing for Richie regarding organizing the Mick interview....made for a great listen all the same.

Enjoyed the show last night but McAteer is hard work. Constantly looking to pull the p!ss out of others and looking for cheap laughs. Quinn and Given were good and Fowler was very honest.
Was just disappointed not to get some free Cadbury bars! :(

I thought McAteer and Fowler were both d1cks to be honest. They weren't particularly nice to Ken. Poor Ken :(. Also why do people go to these things and then heckle?

Really enjoyed the night, Quinn and Given seem like really nice guys. Quinn took a load of photos with people outside. Robbie Fowler had a taxi waiting for him and ran straight out into it, begrudgingly took one pic with some fans and left.

Thought the heckling bit was bonkers - some fella kept shouting Bull**** when Fowler was saying something and then shouted out about having no trophies?? Somebody should have told him to shut up.

Fowler is well known for being a d!ck behind the scenes anyway. Fairly certain the OTB lads said they'd never have him on for a live show again

People were shushing him. I think it was more than one person. I had no idea why he was shouting BS, it wasn't like there was anything for Fowler to BS about.

Then someone booed when Cadburys mentioned at the end.

In fairness to Fowler and the lads they were on the go from 7am that morning. Press stuff, more commercial stuff and what not. Quinn was grand as he could drive home, Mac was staying over (as was Given) and Robbie had a plane to catch for half 9 back to UK! Had he not had to run i assume he would have stayed and had a few pints with Jason & Shay!

Really? Hadn't heard that said of him before.

Fowler has winner's medals for the FA Cup, League Cup X 2 and the UEFA Cup, to go with 2 PFA Young Player of the Year Awards and 26 England caps. I'd be fairly sure that outstrips the medal haul of the heckler.

Bang of hero worship from the Mick McCarthy interview. I know he was stuck for time, but feel he pulled his punches on some of the Saipan questions.

I heard the same on OTB a few months back. They made it pretty obvious it was Fowler they were talking about.

Yeah that rings a bell for me too.

I'm guessing they didn't have much of a choice here as I imagine the lads were bundled together to do a bit of a circuit

Macateer seems pretty similar to Lawros on OTB a few weeks ago, constantly looking to be the funny man. Found their chat on OTB from Wednesday better than the second captains one to be honest, although kilbane did the push the issues enough when looking for names. Except for Given

    Still worth a listen though?

For the story at the start of how he kept cocking up the recording, yes.

To get a feel for how sound and level headed Mick is, yes.

To actually find out anything interesting about Saipan that we didnt already know, no.

That's where mine was... until we had visitors coming to stay with us and I realised I better take it down or they will think I am some sort of weirdo! :D :pac:

Thought this week's output was poor.

From a good start on the (bank holiday) Monday to a typical GAA Tuesday which didn't exactly pull up any trees it quickly went downhill.

Wednesday was poor in my book, 10 mins of explaining how a man is incapable of using basic recording equipment followed by a tame interview. Surprising Mick bothered as there's only so many times you can answer the same questions.

The live shows never translate well into podcast form, especially with two Liverpoolians whose accents are tough to take and boring Shay Given. Felt sorry for quinners amongst that bunch.

I skipped most of today's and Ken's little "faux outrage" as someone dared express an opinion on their Facebook page that didn't meet the approval of the equality authority was quite pathetic.

I have a 2hr commute for another three weeks but after that I'll have to see if my spare time is well spent listening to this dross.

Having said that if ManU lose and Ken spends 30mins sneering at Bose, all will be forgiven.
