Did you turn off emails to stop getting notified of each pod? I did and hence didn't get the event email (although I can't go so I'm not bothered about it).

They can't email you without you having permission to do so activated on patreon.

Knowing me, I probably unticked every box I could when joining Patreon so I wouldn't get any notifications etc. So that explains why I didn't get the email.

Ah right, that makes sense. Getting a daily email was annoying, I turned it off in the first week.

I actually find Game On to be pretty decent. I like Hugh Cahill, and the fast-paced format of the show is ideal for when I'm driving home, as all their segments are condensed into that one hour. I used to be an avid OTB listener but gave up on them a while back

Interesting news all right. I wonder if that new pod James is starting will be a paid sub? Hard to believer FW is going for over 10 years.

Just short of 8000 monthly subs. Seems like they held on to their subs over the Summer non football period. Thought they might lose a few.
