Yeah, I'd really post it in the way I did if I was claiming it was NK.
What I said didn't suggest that I thought you thought it was North Korea.
    Maybe get new friends?

Reports of people dead on Sky News.

Reporter didnt say that. It was someone on the street.

Looks like a small localised area of debris

My first thought would be suicide bomber?!
    Hopefully it's just them.

Has FoxNews blamed Osama BinLaden yet?

Sky News wouldn't be too worried about stuff like that. Tabloid rag news

They are showing live footage from American tv stations.

"oh my god they're dead" says the man on Sky. Classy stuff.

It seems like a very unconventional target for any terrorist.

Some worrying stuff coming through on twitter, including this one.
    Andrew Katz ‏@katz
RT @JackieBrunoNECN I saw people's legs blown off. Horrific. Two explosions. Runners were coming in and saw unspeakable horror.

Where/what are you looking at? Some of the pics don't look bad but the live cam posted above shows a pretty big area closed off and the helicopter shots on Sky show a decent amount of damage and quite a lot of blood.

Just those pictures already posted. Not seen any news footage yet. I see blood yes, but even around that area, it's like no bombing site I've ever seen. I'm wondering if it's something like a grenade perhaps.

I'm working today, about less than a mile from the finish line and all i can hear is police and ambulance sirens going past my office.

Pricks whoever did this, hopefully it'll turn out ok for the people who got hurt.

No mention of whether it was a bomb or not yet but the bomb squad has been called to Mandarin hotel, area is being cleared.

I'm almost hoping this was an accident like a gas explosion.

If it was what everyone thinks it is - I hope the ****ers are brought to justice and locked up for the remainder of their cowardly lives.

There is zero justification for the direct targeting of civilians. An event children would have been attending.

There was footage from a helicopter on sky, plenty of blood around. If anyone's dead hopefully it's just the people who carried it out.

I'm hoping that too, that it wasn't a terrorist attack. The back bay (the area of the finish line) had a major fire last year in an underground station do to some electricity grind exploding...maybe thats what happened

I don't know who your friends are so it's hard for me to personally attack them. :pac: Maybe I misread your post and I don't recognise your username but it read like some of the regulars in another forum on boards who like to use things like this to make a point.

City with heavy links to Ireland. Hoping reports of death are incorrect.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

It'll probably turn out to be home grown terrorism.
