The exchange is here, off the well road http://goo.gl/maps/qAGra

That's the one I could see in the map provided by Sponge Bob all right. I put that as the exchange on the map for now. This is the one I'm confused about. Seems like a much bigger facility much more suitable to such a high population area. Maybe it's just a storage facility or something.

I have tried to put 2 more locations on the map but i cannot, they are both in Howth in Dublin, i can give you the address of where they are if that helps?

You can right-click on the map where you believe it to be (give the coordinates - shown in attachment) and also give the address. :)

But this is the thread where we are doing the mapping for the cabinets. :D

Seen my first cabinet today in Carlow on sleaty street graiguecullen near the Gaa clubhouse added it to the map. KN digging up the street for the last few days, they are digging further along the road at the entrance to Dunnes today didn't see any other new cabinets there yet.

Edit: Here is the location didn't seem to save onto map http://goo.gl/maps/KTkB7

I see on Fairview Terrace that there's a planning application by Eircom for the installation of a cabinet. Not sure if it's anything to do with VDSL though.

I added it but placed it arbitrarily on latchford green

Went past it today and location on the map is spot on.

There's another one just outside Latchford estate, two across the road in Castlegrange and one down the road in Rosedale. I'll map those four this evening.

Very nice, been looking very hard for those cabs, keep up the work, im sure that there are a few more that need to be found for howth.

EDIT: just seen that they were already added.

Just after putting in details about a plinth going in at the top of my estate. The KN network lads said it might be end of June/July that we can access the cab.

I see somebody has put one in for Bellevue Road as well. Looks like they are starting work in the main area of Greystones. They must be finished with Kilcoole/Newtownmountkennedy for the moment.

one of them i see everyday cause it across the road from me and the other is only around the corner i have to go by it when I'm leaving Howth

^ as you can see the very old grey telephone cab has been removed, but strangely not replaced with its green version?

Final one here, i did like a 4 hour walk around....while i spotted at least 8 of the large green cabs there were no new VDSL beside them, and i spotted 2-3 of the older grey telephone cabs but no big green version.

Still alot of work and upgrading to do. http://goo.gl/maps/P1xSX

I'll point out some of the large green and grey cabs i spotted, but none of them have VDSL

Can i just add?....i frickin LOVE google street view! :D , it helps alot as you can use it as a guide to find cabs, makes it easier to locate them when you go out walking and mapping/taking pics :)

    Besides, good bit of exercise

These are umapped cabs, meaning while i found them on Street View i have not personally seen them, ergo no pics or if they have VDSL.

Found 2 fibre cabs in clongriffen on the donaghmede exchange :confused:, didn't think this area had been touched yet as it's in phase 5. On my phone now, will post pictures later and add them to the map.
