Very very sad week for this great sport. Kudos to Buddy McGirt for pulling Dadashev but tragic what happened after. I've been to that theatre a few times and because of its size seeing the Russian carried out puking must have been heart breaking:

Paddy Barnes fighting Jay Harris October 11th in Ulster Hall

As much as I like Paddy, I think Harris has too much for him and that will be Paddy done

Last chance saloon for Paddy, from what I have seen his style isn't well suited for the pro game and he perhaps made the switch to pro too late, at the wrong weight and he was put in to a title fight too early (though to be fair I thought he was doing reasonably well until he got caught.)

Anyone know how dedicated he is? There's a hot yoga gym around the corner from me and they had a picture of him on their social media, and he didn't look particularly in shape to me. This would have been a bit before his most recent fight.

Dedicated enouhg to go train in Scotland while his family are at home in Belfast.

his fight at Bantam in NYC was a ****show so he would have had to work hard enough get back to fly.

will be interesting to see how he fares at light fly if he can make the weight

Its on ESPN+ too. only $4.99 (approx. €4.50) a month. You can sign up using a vpn. I watched the Kovalev fight on it last week

Can't see past a Loma win but I think Campbell is gonna put up a fight. Looking forward to Povetkin Vs fury as well interesting matchup think it's a hard one to call.

In Manchester at the moment gonna be getting the train down to London in the morning for the fight buzzing for it now.

What time is Fury vs Povetkin? That will probably be the most competitive fight of the night.

Strange gamble in the Fury vs Povetkin fight.

Fury to win in Round 2 has been backed from 66/1 in places to about 6/1

The last blow was when he was on the ground. Wonder will they try to leverage that for a disqualification? He was being well beaten.

This has to be NC....that was so clearly a foul..

    Very gracious in defeat considering.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,331 ✭✭✭jeremyj1968

Jaysus, a mess worthy of the GAA.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,929 ✭✭✭normanoffside

    Already ruled a NC.
I don't think Edwards will want a rematch

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,793 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

No need for that illegal shot,

Obviously he will regret it now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 54,596 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Edwards now talking completely different about his opponent after a NC declared declared...🤔
