Don't forget your 20 Major. Ask them if they have a bit of spare tinfoil as well.

Chocolate stout and vanilla ice cream. Supposedly it's quite nice, just not my thing.

Walk to the shop, get a 99 cone.

3 different people asked me if I "should be having that?"

    Go away.

Felt like going back in for a bottle of Buckie.

What that actual fack...?! For real??? Were these strangers or people you know?

    All of the :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I remember eating rare steak and runny eggs at the end of my pregnancy cos I was dying for them. I felt so bad but then I was all like "I REGREETTTTT NOTHHHHHING!"

I'm doing that this weekend. Really not looking forward to it, even though I know there's a lot of crap that needs to go... Probably going to move the book stash over to my mam's this weekend, to be retrieved at an appropriate time too.

I eat somewhat healthier in the summer. So much easier to eat salads and lots of fruit and veg. Also, I don't really be in the mood for chocolate and it seems to be quite hard to find ice pops that are just a straight water ice or fruit juice-type without a crapload of ice cream in them!

People I know. Whipped icecream can contain listeria which can harm a baby. However it would need to be from a machine that wasn't cleaned and the icecream juice left in there when the machine was off. Even then it would be pretty rare.

I also haven't stopped eating those things. And have had sushi. And some beer. And pate.

Long story, short, I give no fcuks.

Oh I had no problem eating pate cos I was toxiplasmis (sic) immune already!

I would now like some pate and either a 99 or a no-dairy ice pop, probably the latter

I hope you posted that tale five minutes after it happened. After years of doctor schooling you should be having breakfasts at 3pm for a few weeks.

A lad from my college in Paris was killed yesterday. It's horrible to think that could happen and the attack was really brutal. Poor guy was only 18 :(

Absolutely loving the weather today. Just checked the temperature and it's lower than I would have said though!

    That's awful WS. :(

I'm actually surprised I could still read that article in French though. Haven't studied or spoken it in over 10 years...

I was the same with another French article I happened upon today too, dk, quite surprised I was reading it! I couldn't speak it now without a bit of effort and immersion though. My 'foreign language' setting in my brain is set to German :p

edit: ill be damned, auto correct really does change quite to quiet

He died? Aw crap. I read about him this morning, he was still alive then.

There is problem with very right wing people over here. A pigs head was planted in a mosque last week, there is graffiti regularly sprayed on Jewish centres etc. And the anti-gay marriage protesters are in a lot of the same political groups as those right wingers. Sickening.

I was planning to make sweet potato fries for dinner tonight and I just realised the sweet potato has gone bad. Now I want Dominos. So conflicted!

Ah there's no point being ashamed. We all have days like that. I reckon if you listed it all out we'd be nothing but envious!

Lol I think you would all get sick.

So I ate a sandwich then met up with my friend and we had a date. He bought me a full dinner. Then we got a few Bulmers....we somehow ended up in mc donalds and I got 1 hamburger and a mc flurry while he got 3 and a large coke then we went for coffee where we split a cake. He went home for dinner meanwhile I can't look at food. At all.

I want to get sick. I'm so ashamed of all that.

I don't understand why nobody in this family can eat at a normal pace or without making a ridiculous amount of noise.

    Is that utility functions?

I think the institute one is fairly different from what we did in UCD, you have all sorts of fancy models and whatnot :p

I did find it interesting but it was the hardest module we did, probably in the whole 4 years.

    Results in the morning. Ugh.

    Aw, fingers crossed!
Another month for mine, just might as well use it.
Yeah it's on about market efficiency now. Great stuff. I'll go read some more Mises while I'm at it :D

It's mad how much of it can stick in your head! I really don't have a language-y brain, so even though my French got significantly better when I was there I've lost most of it since coming home. That said if I was there for a few hours I think I'd pick it back up again fairly quickly!

It's weird actually, the email the administration sent to us said he was 'en état de mort cérébrale' but I wonder if that means he's still on life support of some description? The poor guy, I can't stop thinking about how young he was.

Best of luck with your results! Hope they go fantastically and reflect your obvious talent/hard work :)

Guys there is a chance that D is bringing me to see Wicked when we're in London. I may have been on the verge of tears of excitement when I found out! :D:D:D

Thanks :) I don't think it's going to be pretty but my job is safe unless I fail the whole year so I'll be okay :)

Wicked is AMAZING, I love it. Saw it in London in 08 and Sydney in 09, and I'm going again when it comes to Dublin this year :D it's fantastic :)
