Trying to decide what to have for dinner and cannot come up with any inspiration :( Need to let the bf know by 6pm so he can get the stuff on his way home :) Any ideas loungers? Something simple, and cheap. :)

Came up with a new savings plan so I may actually have some money put aside for once :) Fingers crossed it works out :)

    Is that this stuff?

    http://tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=273913061

Think I had it before, wouldn't be a fan tbh.

I would love fish cakes, but made them the other day and spent nearly €8 on fish so just couldn't justify making them again, esp as I need money for tomorrow too, don't get paid 'til Friday!

Really don't know what to have. Looking up various recipes and not getting any inspiration/ideas.... :o

My supervisor must have read my post this morning about me being bored. My workload of a single fund is being increased to 3 tomorrow!

That's too much work now :pac: I'm never happy

Better then having nothing to do at all, I hate being bored at work, makes the day drag!

Been having the worst month or so ever! Really need to try and pick myself back up somehow!

The thoughts of marriage would be enough to put me off dating. I'm just weird though. I remember professing my love for someone with a male name on Facebook a while ago, and one person asked if I'd started to name my shoes.

    Moshinallybroken.

Speaking of cake, I had a craving for pancakes so I just picked up some of those ready made sweet pancakes from Aldi yesterday. I don't know why I expected different, but there was just no comparison to the sheer awesomeness of the buckwheat pancakes the other half makes. :o

Bought pancakes are just the saddest looking little things, I don't know how anyone buys or sells them, when pancakes are so easy to make. Rubbery weird lookin yokes.

    Yay, new thread :D

I am in desperate need of hugs :( this has just not been a good month for me so far, and the trend is continuing big style. Got a PFO from one of the firms I applied to for internships this afternoon, and every single other person I know who applied has been offered an interview. Feels like such a huge slap in the face. I feel like I can't do anything right; haven't got the brains to go into academia, haven't got the financial backing/confidence/general skills to go to the Bar, haven't got whatever it is they're looking for in the commercial firms... I hate this part of my life, this uncertainty thing. I always thought by the time I was coming to the end of my penultimate year I'd have things kind of figured out and maybe even have something concrete to drift toward, but it's really not looking that way. I just feel really disheartened and stupid and bleh :( and I have to study for an exam that I only heard about an hour ago and is on tomorrow evening...ugh. :(

got 'em cos I was lazy, and I had to drown them in syrup to make them edible :o

It's manic at work at the moment, one of those 'wolf down your lunch at your desk' weeks. I was hoping to take Friday off but don't feel like I can ask now.

But it's a good day because
    • We collected our wedding rings (mine has sapphires!)
    • I'm getting my dinner handed to me later :)

    Ooh, wedding rings, exciting!!

To WinterSong, don't worry so much! If you're only in your penultimate year you still have plenty of time to figure it out. In my penultimate year of m law degree I was convinced I was sitting FE1s and becoming a solicitor ASAP.
I did a masters in law, failed miserably at the FE1s and am now doing a phd in publishing.
Something will show up, and you'll end up happy, be sure of it!
    Hugs anyways, though. :)
