Dolbert you will have a wonderful time - enjoy!

Just looked at my daughter and realised that she is a mini-me :D

I have a bad body image not helped by the fact that I grew up in the fashion industry - my hubby just said that I had the same body shape as a model - cheared me up.

Placement test done. Got the number of questions I passed in it, but that tells me absolutely nothing about what level they think I'll be at. hopefully I haven't gone backwards :(
Time to chill out! Audition tomorrow. I'll practise a bit later.

Going to a friends to sit in their rooftop garden. Think I'm going to bring a bottle of white wine, but I know nothing about white wine. Apart from that I like some of them.

An ice-cold sauvignon blanc would be the business right now, after the day I've had.

    *flounces dramatically onto the couch*

A hot day would cry Chablis for me. Pinot Grigio a close second.

I've opted for Innis & Gunn beer while I wait for the meat to cook on the barbecue. All three of us are on our folding chairs having a chat. It's so lovely. James' chair is a hedgehog. :)

Day in the sun with my hubby, my son, my BBQ, in my own back garden. Life is sweet.

Even though I'm 29 and obviously therefore officially old today, Mongolian Barbeque in the city centre (had been dying to go back there for ages) and a sunny evening, it's not all bad :pac:

Think I'll have a jameson and coke later. In a big glass with ice. Nyom. :p

It's been a lovely day all right
Don't know what to wear for audition tomorrow. The formal stuff I'd ideally wear will be a bit heavy in this weather possibly. Hmm

What Innis & Gunn did you have?

I've got their whisky cask and rum cask for later, dying to crack them open. Have a Sierra Nevada too, can't wait to get at them.

Long day today, finally able to relax now, going to order some food as I am starving but I don't know what I want.

I came home today to find a white envelope addressed to me on the hall table. Didn't think much of it- it was prolly a bank statement, I thought- but I opened it up and found that I'd won a Permanent TSB prize draw and attached to the congradulatory letter was a cheque for €250! :D:D Feckin' delighted! I can get my next tattoo AND pay off my camera! Woot!!

I want a paddling pool. And a garden for it. And a house for that. But mostly a paddling pool. I would totally splosh about in it and then plonk my arse down in the water. :D

Is there anywhere you can get stamps on a Sunday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭lilmissprincess

    Do newsagents still sell them?

Depends where you are - some of the bigger post offices are open on Sundays.

My neighbour here won't pay anyone to take her rubbish away and all of it is piled up in her back garden. It was inevitable it would bring rats, my bro saw a big rat rustling away (during the day). Private houses(ex-council). Anyone know if there's anything I can do...without them knowing it was us that complained. I've my two nephews playing in my back garden...don't want them to have to face a big, dirty rat. :(

Just what I need - tried on a maxi skirt and asked my dad (who was a fashion designer in the past) about how it looked - he went on to say that it was far too small for me on the hips and then measured me and saw that he was wronng but said that I needed a far bigger size for my hips - is it any wonder that i have body image issues - hubby is disgusted with him - when was a size 8 fat?

You should stop asking him things like that you know what he's like and you'll end up upset!
Ask your hubby only from now on. Or us

Well I'm half-melted after work today, the heat was unreal. Glad to be home in my shorts with a barbecue on the way and wine in the fridge :D

Wicked is booked and confirmed, I'm skyping my best friend tonight (she's on a J1 and I haven't been talking to her properly since she left over a week ago, miss her a crazy amount and we have so much to catch up on) and I'm going to Dublin tomorrow to see some of my friends from Paris. Oh, and only 19 days until I see D again  Life is good! So much to look forward to :D
