About 2 inches of snow on the ground in Slieverue, frozen solid. Absolutely freezing out!

Anyone know what the roads are like?

light shower in Waterford. Bitter out. few hours to the thaw yet.
Is that it now for this year ye??

still snowing here, this shower going for over half an hour now.
Just shows the effect of the lighter winds.
If this was the case yesterday, there would have been more lying snow.

Heavy snow now in Enniscorthy,we had a good bit last night & I was on the road which made driving interesting.

Looks like there was some kind of thaw over the last few hours but this latest batch is topping it up again nicely.

    No,they should have read MTC's warning:pac:

They Daily Mail warned of this weather the other day & the comments section was laughable with the usual "Typical over reaction,it's Spring" etc.

Mad morning getting to work! The snow was about 7-8 cm thick on the car and took a while to get clear. Then it was just pure white compacted stuff all through Waterford and out onto the M9. Then, just after Mullinavat, the road cleared and I was able to make the usual speed up to Kilkenny - and it's bone dry here!

Dry as a bone here, -6.9 earlier the coldest since 2010, water was frozen. Some cold for March.

A very successful period of winter weather for many. I ended up with 4cm after. I seen the pic in Waterford measuring about 10cm. Very impressive in March especially. . Really came down in heavy bursts at times. Well done all who got the white wonder (Including me:D)
Was worth the long hard wait. Cheers for all the updates it really builds a picture of What's happening.

Well done to Waterford! I would have thought there best chances of snow would have been from that front that pulled away on Sunday and not from showers! But Mother Nature will do what she wants to do!

Just back from being cajoled into doing the school run here this morning :D

Arklow town is looking lovely and Alpine.I met the town council gritter out doing their job and they've done a great job on main town roads but the pavements are white and slippy as are the estate's that aren't gritted, but some that are are slippy as I found out.
Once you leave the town boundary, the roads are pure white,no one doing over 20 on the route out to me, a sheet of glass!
