From what Meltzer and a few others have said, they're fairly keen on him retiring into an agent role. I'd say he'll be like Regal for a while, occasionally popping up in matches but mostly gone.

Christian will be fine. He's valuable in plenty of non-wrestling roles.

Surprised 3MB are gone. What a shame for Drew, he could have had a big career with WWE.

I expect to see quite a few of these at GFW or ROH(Sydal)

    It's a massacre.

It was always going to happen with WWEs losses this year.

3MBs is the only one i'm surprised by.

Have they ever cut this many all at once before?

They have had some post-Wrestlemania culls before. Can't really remember a huge number last year, but in previous years, yeah, a good few have been released at the same time.

The only two that surprise me are McIntyre & Mahal really.

In recent years, they've kept it to maybe one or two recognizable names and then a few developmentals. Been a fair while since it was this brutal...

I always hate cuts in WWE, simply because they refer to themselves as a Family. They Kick out the ones that are not bringing in enough money.

MetsFan4Ever on Wreddit is confirming that the streak has ended and JTG is also going. He's been very reliable for some behind the scenes stuff over the last few months.

they used to release half a dozen together at least twice a year prior to linda running for office, another example in 2010

    Hate this.

Evan Bourne has been out for over two years now - but he's been ready for the past 16 months. For over a year now getting ready for his comeback and he was desperate to get back in. To have him sitting around for so long to just release him is terrible.

Same goes for Hawkins, his mind never stops coming up with different ideas to change or better himself in the hope he gets the chance to perform - and as recent as last Sunday I sent him design work to take his look in a different direction just in case that might help him. His last chance was last year and it was cut short when Tyler Reks decided to quit before it took off, understand Reks' reasons but that must be hard to take for Hawkins, having the reset button pressed at the first sign of a new opportunity.

Those guys have friends across the indy's and we'll be treated to see them perform without restrictions in places like PWG, ROH and others.

Surprised about Hawkins, I would seen him in a Mercury type role. Maybe it was a mutual thing if Curt has his training centre? He could have been happy to go.

Aksana actually surprises me too, I thought Vinnie Mac was a fan of hers. :P

It looks like JTG has been released as well, will be announced later.

Hawkins moved on quickly fair play to him.
Pro Wrestling Syndicate has officially signed former WWE superstar Curt Hawkins for all future dates. Hawkins makes his PWS debut on September 20th in Rahway NJ

Surprised at 3MB, especially since they were using them to promote Hornswoggle and WWE's new movie. May just be Slater now with him.

Some other surprising names there. I was just saying recently that Camacho seems to have gotten bigger lately and more of an intimidating presence.

Haven't read the Smackdown spoilers, but do any of these guys get written out?

Hawkins moved on quickly fair play to him.

He didn't really move. PWS is a promotion he has worked for a while.

"On June 12, 2014, JTG was released from his WWE contract. This ends JTG's eight years in the company.
There will be a ten-bell salute at the onset of the June 16 edition of Raw in memory to his career.

Holy hand of Jesus! Where is the carnage gonna stop, if they've gotten rid of JTG? Won't someone think of the children!

Really disappointed in some of these releases, was holding out hope for Drew McIntyre to become a major player again at some point.
