Tournament is bracketed by seeds, 1 & 4 are top of draw, 2 & 3 are bottom:

    Top Half
    1st Quarter
Michael van Gerwen (1, Netherlands) v Joe Cullen (England)
    Stuart Kellett (32, England) v Viljanen/Stein
Terry Jenkins (16, England) v John Weber (Australia)
Justin Pipe (17, England) v Lawrence Ryder (Australia)
Dave Chisnall (8, England) v Ryan De Vreede (Netherlands)
Paul Nicholson (25, Australia) v Benito van de Pas (Netherlands)
Robert Thornton (9, Scotland) v Andrew Gilding (England)
    Ronnie Baxter (24, England) v Mackenzie/Gurney

    2nd Quarter
Peter Wright (5, Scotland) v Gerwen Price (Wales)
Andy Smith (28, England) v Ronny Huybrechts (Belgium)
Andy Hamilton (12, England) v Dave Richardson (Canada)
Steve Beaton (21, England) v Kyle Anderson (Australia)
    Gary Anderson (4, Scotland) v McGrath/Kirchner
Jelle Klaasen (29, Netherlands) v Christian Kist (Netherlands)
    Wes Newton (13, England) v Perez/Reyes
    Kevin Painter (20, England) v Koltsov/Muramatsu

    Bottom Half
    3rd Quarter
Phil Taylor (2, England) v Jyhan Artut (Germany)
Mark Webster (31, Wales) v Ron Meulenkamp (Netherlands)
    Ian White (15, England) v Haavisto/Michael
Kim Huybrechts (18, Belgium) v Mickey Mansell (Northern Ireland
Simon Whitlock (7, Australia) v Darren Webster (England)
Dean Winstanley (26, England) v Wayne Jones (England)
Mervyn King (10, England) v Max Hopp (Germany)
Vincent van der Voort (23, Netherlands) v John Henderson (Scotland)

    Fourth Quarter
James Wade (6, England) v Jamie Lewis (Wales)
    Stephen Bunting (27, England) v Wattimena/Marijanovic
    Brendan Dolan (11, Northern Ireland) v Arendse/Hon
Michael Smith (22, England) v Mensur Suljovic (Austria)
Adrian Lewis (3, England) v David Pallett (England)
John Part (30, Canada) v Keegan Brown (England)
Raymond van Barneveld (14, Netherlands) v Rowby-John Rodriguez (Austria)
Jamie Caven (19, England) v Jason Hogg (Scotland)

Taylor & MVG can only meet in Final. So both are mucking up the E/w value ;)

Nice one Healio, thanks for that.
Yeah I knew they would be on opposite sides its just picking which one I think has better chance of getting to final lol

I would avoid anyone from the fourth quarter, it looks very tough.

Michael smith at 50's is a tasty price..tough side of the draw but he can beat any of them...

If I was a betting man I'd put each way money on Chizzy, King, Wade and Anderson.
King at 50/1 is great value. Been in very good form recently.

Would I be right, wade and Anderson can meet in the final?
If so that's my bet :)

Zuiderduin Masters starts today, think Ross Montgomery is big price at 50s for it. Won it in 2010 and made semis in 2011-12-13. He's won Dutch Open this year and if he can beat Alan Norris in opening match I'd fancy him for a good run in the tournament. It's really all about the first match for him

You mean to say you don't know who ross the boss is?
He's a mole with a BDO darts player from Scotland attached to it.

....who just took out Alan Norris 5-2, go on the Boss!

5/2 now, I fancy 3 for the tournament.

Done Taylor/Chizzy final at 22/1, I think Chizzy or Anderson will go through from that 1/2 of draw, just dont see MVG doing it again.

Anderson to win his 1/4 at 4/5

    Bunting e/w @ 22/1

Wade e/w @ 33/1 (done this in April lol)

I've got Taylor 15/8 as part of a longterm bet including football & Ufc so it runs until May potentially or could be finished by the weekend :D

Good luck to all, lets take some money off the bookies this christmas

    MVG highest checkout tonight 7/2

Anderson to win his quarter 4/5 looks a great bet, he should get to the semis at least if not the final.

Hope so! :D Its on PP if your looking for it.

I like Wade at 10/3 aswell, obviously bigger price due to lewis being in same 1/4 but never bet it.

Yeah I took it as well as King 66/1 e/w and Wade 12/1 e/w. King was such good value I couldn't pass him up at 66s. The only player in his quarter he would have trouble against would be Taylor imo. Wade is in good form and this could very well be his time to add the world title to his trophy cabinet.

Why do I insist on including preliminary games in my mug accums at the worlds.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,518 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Taylor (-1) at 6/4 in the 180 handicap market on pp for tonights game seems v big

Also gonna take Hamilton -1 @ 11/10 in the same market

For some reason wright is +1 @ 2/5 so will make it 2 singles and then a treble with wright thrown in

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,562 ✭✭✭Tiger Mcilroy

Just had 10 ew on both Terry Jenkins 80/1 and james wade 16/1...jenkins has wining form over MVG and he has shown he can more than hold his own with the dutchman and if he can get past him 80/1 is a lovely price.

Followed you on this as a treble looks promising

Gonna stick to simple double tonight of Wright & Hamilton at about 1/2.

Gonna try the slow & steady buildup for some nights when the odds are short

If anyone is interested heres a FB page doing a £20-£1000 challenge. If you've not heard of it you start with 20, bet the balance until you reach a grand target.

I'm going to do it, maybe just through early rounds when its hard to know much about some players. Also if I dont agree with any selection I can change it or just leave it out :)

    Went for outsiders this afternoon

Van de Pas and Jones double. Muelenkamp single

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,480 ✭✭✭Devastator

    Bet of the night

    3.5+ sets wade/lewis evens

I don't know much about Lewis, he got beat 3-0 by Barney last year but reading a bit about him, hes 23, this is 3rd time at worlds and he's beaten some top players in the past. Although I think Wade will go far in this tournament he doesn't exactly ever dominate any players and is sometimes slow to get going and nicks a lot of legs, so I think theres a great chance for Lewis getting at least 1 set

I threw in Huybretchs 4/9 in a double, I don't bet on the pre lims, don't like betting on Ian White :D and Chisnall 1/12 isn't worth it IMO

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Gotya

Chisnall most 180s, highest checkout and win,
Wade most 180s, highest checkout and win.

    Double pays little over 4/1.

That 141 from Jamie lewis in the first set isn't helping, wade is good for a 142+ ?

Nope, 96 Wade's highest out and 125 & 141 from Lewis...unfortunate for you but it helped my bet win :)

    Caven 1/6,Barney 1/4 & 3.5+sets Smith/Suljovic is my treble for tonight.

I hate betting on Barney because I always want him to get beat :D
