There is a special 'Moone Boy:Behind The Scenes' on Sky One at 10pm (after Episode 6) which might be worth a look.

Teacher to students spraying the word graffiti on the school wall "You stupid fools that is not how you spell graffiti"

"His big Daniel O' Donnell head on him"

    :D

Some many funny moments tonight I'll miss Martin and his family and friends roll on series 2

Really enjoyed that. Looking forward to Paddy's day! Friend was brilliant in it. He had the best lines.

June 25th was The Day Ireland beat Romania in Italia 90

    Surprised it wasn't mentioned

    I enjoyed the series.

The two kids were believable 12/13 year olds. And the series did remind me of my childhood. The alter boy episode was the funnies for me. Taking over the ringing of the bell was comedy gold.

I know a lot of Irish people love this show, because it rings true with a lot of our childhoods, but does anyone know how it was received in England? Hopefully it was a winner.

The people over on the DigitalSpy forums are raving about it!

Yeah, when the date was mentioned at the beginning I thought for sure it'd be an episode about Italia '90.

Great stuff all the same though. Best comedy in a long while.

The scenes with Deirdre O'Kane trying to put the daughter off studying had me cracking up. I also loved when Fidelma came into the kitchen and the Dad went "Here's my favourite girl." With the shot of the other daughter's reaction in the background.

Discussion of where to stream is not allowed, but if you are a Sky customer, then I think you should have access to their catalogue on Sky Go (or whatever it is called)

Ah. Thanks. It's just I missed the episodes when they were on. My parents have SKY but unfortunately I don't know the details and they're not here at the moment to ask. Something for me to sort out later though! Thanks.

I think this is a decent Irish comedy. I've watched all the episodes and really enjoyed it. I think the kid who played Martin Moone was great. Also, loved the cameo appearance by Steve Coogan as 'Touchy Feehily'.

Anyone else watch the series - what did you think of it?

One British reviewer described it as an apology for Mrs Brown's Boys.

That was a really good episode. Loved at the end when martin was like 'oh she must have told them about the baby' :D not as dopey as they think.

There's nothing I don't like about this show. The attention to detail for the time is a neat touch and the characters are...ah I can't remember the word I'm looking for at the moment. It's a positve one though. Finally something to put up there with Fr.Ted.
