Me too.. although I do wonder if some of the subtleties are lost on people who weren't born in the mid to late 70's. It's funny nonetheless, but for me (born in 76) the little things ('Don't Go' on the radio, Steve Wall, doing the do to Cosmopolitan Magazine etc) take it to the next level. Love it.

    Awful episode.

    Crazy talk! :)

Thought it was hilarious tonight. Loved the awkward Birds & Bees scene.

    1981 and I love it!
It's like it's been made just to remind me of my childhood!!
The soundtrack makes it I think.

Was the Uncle one of the brothers from the Walls?

Really enjoyed episode three. The boy of the Walls was excellent as Uncle Danny. Wonderful dialogue from Martin's friend 'building a dirty snowman' indeed.
    Roll on.

I'm loving Moone Boy, the humour is just so witty. I'd say it's going to be one of those shows that you can watch over and over and still get a laugh from it each time.

first season i believe is set in 1989, the second season will be set in 1991

Series 1 is 1990 Mary Robinson Presidential campaign.

Loved Uncle Danny working in the sugar factory in Carlow - class! The Ireland 80's/90's references are all there. Love the soundtrack.

Would be cool if Where's me Jumper was a hit again.

Not near a TV, but there's a good chance it's on Anytime.

And if not - it's repeated on Thursday at 9pm on Sky1.

Me too, great characters. Martin's dad is just brilliant and Deirdre O Kane is effortlessly funny. As someone else commented, you could watch it again and still laugh. Cant remember an Irish comedy as promising since Fr. Ted. Roll on season 2.
