Yes Rangers fans are Bobby but I am not going to question them over a bit of spurilios gossip that a tic fan has got from someone like McMurdos blog. And as for my superiors maybe that's how you look on your board it it is certainly not how I look on mine. This board warts and all are well aware that the supporters are not going to be fobbed off again.

I must have missed the Rangers* fans questioning of The Lying Kings claims o have a NOMAD "ready to go". His promises of £50m, down to £30m, down to £10m, down to getting a loan from one of the 3 Bears to pay wages.

You definitely aren't getting fobbed off again, oh no, no way.

And you wonder why you are laughed at of course they were questioned by people in a better position than you to do so. I don't ever remember him saying he was putting in50m of his own money but I can understand why he is waiting on the morons in charge of the SFA to make a decision on him. tell me why'd should pump money in only to see it disappear down a black hole that Ashley's two puppets in all possibility have left behind. Don't worry yourself on our behalf ;)

He said he was willing to meet the shortfall in any investment plan, even if he had to pay the "thick end" of £50million.

"I am not going into this on the basis that I have to make a return on an investment. I actually believe whatever I invest in Rangers I will never get back. But I am happy to do it," said the Castlemilk-born businessman who lost £20m in Rangers under the Sir David Murray regime.

He also said he was going to invest, whether he passed the F&P or not. Also, paying wages is hardly a black hole. But the Ostriches will continue to back Glib and Shameless Dave.

Just the 11 minutes "added" time needed to get over the line against the mighty Falkirk.

John Daly is finished he can't train due to his knees. Also McCall is not using any of gis big old fashioned strikers he is looking for quick movement which unfortunately big JD does not have

Seen pics of him training on Saturday and he looked ok to me but fair point about the quick movement, still think hes worthy of place on bench as a plan b, its not as if plan a is working so well. Same goes for boyd, he wasnt in last match day squad despite being fit, must be for same reason.

0-2 up at Hearts, some decent football.

Really like how the ref lets the game go on instead of stopping it for every single player falling over.

1-2 now after a shocking move by Bell.

And McCall dislodges a solid defense by bringing his pal McCulloch on, why ? Black as well, absolutely useless substitutions.

edit: I knew they would equalize. This is all on McCall.

Is the line up for the playoffs decided or is there a draw?

Do you fancy your chances of getting promoted?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Not too sure. Today showed McCall the defence we need, we were extremely solid for about 80 mins until he decides to bring his pal on.

We'll play Queen of the South first over 2 legs.

Thanks, didn't realise that was the layout, I had presumed it was Hibs, Rangers, QoS & 2nd from bottom playing a knockout round then the final rather than that format.

A lot of games to play to go up, a win today would have put you in a good position in terms of confidence

Seems like an odd way to do it. Even the English system would be better imo. 2 straight down and play off between teams 2 - 5.

Hibs have to be favourites to get through the play-offs at this stage.

Ugh, I hated typing that.

Scotland following the league of Ireland system to give the team in the top division as much chance as possible to stay up

Ah very true but then again it is also true that favourites don't always win :P

It should also be pointed out that given my woeful forecasting abilities I have probably scuppered Hibs' prospects. Last season once we went down I said there was no way Hibs could get relegated as well. Thankfully I didn't take a bet on that. :o

We've won enough games as favourites for 4 in a row anyway.

    Enjoy your championship bronze medals.

WATP - We Are Third Place

And it's all about the Rangers

Really you not celebrating your team winning the league oh that is right you would rather sadly slag off a team that does it even play in the same division oh well

Well of course we are celebrating, but a little schadenfreunde never goes astray between friends, does it?

Again if I was celebrating you lot would be the furthest thing from my mind it just goes to show the differences once again. And sorry friends are people I know and like not anonymous names at the other end of a keyboard somewhere in the world ;)

BBE, you really are sour grapes lately. Any bit of banter you seem to take super-personally when it clearly isn't intended as such.

    Lighten up!

Nah Paul obviously what you see as banter is different from myself. I don't see people taking my discussion with a Hearts fan and turning it into a dig at us for a reason I fail to see as funny as banter.
Over the years we have had some good banter between the threads but not for a long time have you never wondered why no one posts in here anymore

Watched that Fernando Ricksen documentary last night. Christ, it's sad to see him now. I remember thinking when he was playing that he was one crazy so and so. And it was more or less confirmed by his former team mates and friends last night. And he was even worse off the pitch! But I don't envy the battle he faces now, fighting MND. I hope he pulls through it, though the prognosis is not good. And credit to Rangers for supporting him now.
