If what I heard comes to pass, I don't think he'll have any need to apologise. A friend of mine is a Rangers fan from Glasgow, was home in Scotland at the weekend, and met Walter Smith. Apparently Walter told him he would have preferred MA to stay at the club rather than have King there. He wouldn't elaborate further, but my friends head is spinning now haha. He was a big King supporter, wouldn't hear a bad word said about the "glib and shameless" one, but trusts the Cardigan 100%. His head is wrecked.

Lol you should really stop with the fairy stories or stop being so gullible. Smith has no room to talk as he is one of the so called Rangers men that stood by and let this happen. Also I somehow doubt Smith would tell a random anything ;)

Dave King is a rangers man, he could bought the club for a pound, saved his previous shareholding and guided the club whatever way he wanted. Love of the club didn't drive him then and it isn't driving him now. You dismiss Smith in desperate hope that King doesn't do what everyone else has done? Remember how much he lost on the previous club.

My friend would have met Mr Myth quite a bit over the years, he's a big fan who grew up in Glasgow and was a season ticket holder from about 14-30. He's absolutely no reason to lie to me about something I can give him stick over.

You're head is well and truly in the sand.

Men like King can't resist the chance of a quick buck. he gambled his freedom for it before remember.

To answer your question I wint do a Keith on it and disappear if I'm wrong

I have spent time in Smiths company on a numer of occasions and don't believe a word your (mate)is saying. He walked away from the club for a reason. And honestly just because someone was s season ticket holder does not mean they can't tell fairy stories and to be honest the thought of you having a mate who is a bear is really funny considering your thoughts on us.

Hahahaha, my thoughts on you?? It makes no difference to me what you think. I've mentioned him before in relation to watching Old Firm games with him. He is married to a school friend of mine.

See your mistake is right there when you made it personal with "my thoughts on you" whereas I said your thoughts on us as Rangers fans. I throughly reciprocate with you on it certainly makes no difference to me what you think. But I must admit I do find it amusing that your interest in a team who should be I no concern to you.
Now I really don't care what some random bear who I wouldn't know from Adam has or has not told you.

Why would one of the biggest clubs in the country be of no concern to fans of other clubs? And why do you continue to attempt at squirming away under this generic defence mechanism.

Looks like Mike has things pretty wrapped up anyway. The club/company don't even own Broxi haha.

Only as long as thd contracts last and as very few people are buying thd merchandise it's not doing him much good. Also I am willing to bet these along with a log more are being looked into. When you consider the collusion between his two puppets and himself things may not turn out as he expects. It's not therms of thd world just an annoyance and another pointer as to why we backedKing and the others against the crooks and spins that were in place.

funny how we are a big club when it suits your argument. I don't need to defend anything to you. I just give you the courtesy of an answer.

Mike Ashley - billionaire business man, I'm sure his legal team have the contracts sewn up watertight. Have kept Rangers* afloat through his loans. Had a NOMAD

Dave King - convicted criminal, glib and shameless liar. Promised millions, turns up with nowt. Still not put a penny in. Couldn't get a NOMAD.

I can see why you would want the Lying King in charge. Did you back Whyte and Green too???

Regardless of the league you're in or how long your club has been around, or even the attendances at Ibrox, they have the second biggest fanbase in the country (could even be the biggest in terms of domestic fans). They are constantly involved in controversy both on and off the pitch, things that concern if not affect every other club in the country.

Neither Rangers club before or after 2012 has been a small club in Scotland. Your fans continue to pretend to revel in others being "obsessed" with you when in reality it is fans displaying a concern for how our game is being run. I think your fans, those running your club, and the SFA would all much rather nobody was "obsessed" with Rangers and they were allowed to do as they have done without question.

Being a good manager doesn't mean you know anything about how to run a club. Anyone thinking Ashley is good news is wrong, and that includes Smith (if your story is true of course ;) ).

The latest development shows that, I never believed for a second he'd just step away from the club.

Smith never believed that Ashley was good news, he just believes that King will be worse.

Edit: going by what my friend told me. I myself have no insight into what the Cardy thinks.

Seems I was wrong about the badges so I will hold my hands up for that. But if the club don't go down the legal route then I would be all for s new crest Arsenal did it as did Man city Ibievd so nothing new in it.

3-0 down to Queen of the South. Embarrassment, players reverting to type it seems. Glad 12 of them are out of contract.

Hibs and Rangers don't deserve to go up on this rate.

Looks like it's true that Mike Ashley has you guys by the balls and has your crests, badges etc... sown up.

Here's a list of the 'Rangers'™(®Mike Ashley) Intellectual Copyright that Mike Ashley owns - https://www.ipo.gov.uk/tmownerid/search?domain=1&id=48839&app=1&name=SPORTSDIRECT&postcode=

Would love to see Rangers back ( they are my second team after Manchester United) but I don't think they would survive in the premier league. Another season in the Championship and get some new blood in will help.

Get new blood in with what?? They are currently £6.5m in debt, with rumours that they'll need another £1.5m to pay this months wages. They have relatively little income apart from ticket sales. And come the summer they'll still have to pay wages without that income.

Once season ticket money is collected they'll burn through it in a few months. I'm not sure how much they'll make in season tickets, but will it cover the £6.5-9m they owe?? No bank will touch them. No investor will invest in a company that doesn't have a ground, training ground, trademarks etc.

If Dave King wanted to go the prepackaged admin route, Mike Ashley owns the badges and trademarks, so good luck reforming as Rangers.

They are screwed. And I for one find it hilarious. The attitude of entitlement, which in fairness, isn't really prominent on this board has sank the second coming. WATP, Timmy is worried now that we are almost back and on and on. Paying SPL wages in the third division rather than resizing and living within their means has destroyed any chance of this new club has of moving forward.

Rumours all over Twitter and various Rangers* message boards that Mike Ashley now owns all of the IP due to a default on the terms of his loan.

    Interesting.

Only way rumours are interesting is if you are a wee fishwife with nothing better to do. Theres also rumours that these contracts ae all illegal I will wait and see what a court says.
Also how many times does it have to be said a different designed badge and ashley owns useless bits of paper if it came to it though I don't believe it will

Ashley is a billionaire businessman. I'd imagine he has quite a pricey legal team drawing up these contracts. I can't imagine them being anything other than watertight.

I am not an expensive lawyer/advisor, but if I was taking crests/badges as collateral on a loan to an entity who's previous incarnation went bust with a history of nonpayment, I'd have a clause in stating that they could not just change the badge. I'd imagine it's standard practice.

Not the mention that Mike has the rights to Glasgow Rangers Football Club, Glasgow Rangers FC and Rangers. Although you could revert back to Sevco, don't think he has that.

Edit: also, if a default has happened, he also has a claim over all Rangers* properties except Ibrox. More than a few "useless bits of paper"

Again just because he has money does not mean the contracts are watertight far from it. It is very easy to prove collusion between his side and his puppets.
There will be nothing to stop a new badge being made Man city for example did not own the rights to their old crest so they changed it.
