Again just because he has money does not mean the contracts are watertight far from it. It is very easy to prove collusion between his side and his puppets.
There will be nothing to stop a new badge being made Man city for example did not own the rights to their old crest so they changed it.

If there is a clause stopping them from changing the badge in the contract giving it as collateral, that would stop them changing the badge. But that's by the wayside, they couldn't call themselves Ranger, Glasgow Rangers etc. Mike owns the name too.

Do you honestly believe this will be the final outcome. And I love how you are on first name terms with the crook. This is going to be pointless until there is definitive proof of whats happening

I've never met Dave King, never mind been on first name terms with him?!?

I'm only going on what is being speculated on by Rangers* fans.

Ashley is a billionaire businessman. I'd imagine he has quite a pricey legal team drawing up these contracts. I can't imagine them being anything other than watertight.

I am not an expensive lawyer/advisor, but if I was taking crests/badges as collateral on a loan to an entity who's previous incarnation went bust with a history of nonpayment, I'd have a clause in stating that they could not just change the badge. I'd imagine it's standard practice.

Not the mention that Mike has the rights to Glasgow Rangers Football Club, Glasgow Rangers FC and Rangers. Although you could revert back to Sevco, don't think he has that.

Edit: also, if a default has happened, he also has a claim over all Rangers* properties except Ibrox. More than a few "useless bits of paper"

I wonder why he doesn't have a claim over Ibrox?!

What are the fans feelings on the SPFL giving them another helping hand with the fixtures? Bit patronising isn't it?

I dont usually go in for the whole 'giving rangers a helping hand thing' all the time but this is absolutely outrageous unless im missing something?

Maybe missing the fact that McCall has said its a disgrace. Maybe missing the fact that it was Sky who wanted if moved. Maybe seeing stuff that really isn't there.
As for Rangers getting a helping hand re fixtures just think back to 2008

And there we have it the game is moved back to the Saturday kicking off at the same time as the others amazing what that bunch of hypocrites in charge can do.
I really hope this stops all the tears from certain clubs and puts to bed this nonsense that Rangers always get there way even though we were against it being moved in the first place

Didnt realise McCall had said that, so fair play. Sky should have been told where to get off, no league worth its salt would contemplate this. So they changed it under pressure and ridicule, woo hoo. It should never even have been up for decision in the first place, what a shower of incompetents.

lol was this when ye were crying about not having the fixtures moved to suit your European run? "I don't know what they're (Celtic) complaining about, they should just get on with it, I wish we were in their position," Alex McLeish, 2003. When the same happened to Celtic.

btw I don't think anyone in Rangers will have asked the SPFL for this favour, I believe McCall on that.

Firstly don't think you can sweep it under the rug. Just because Hibs & Hearts rightly kicked up a fuss and had it sorted out doesn't mean it didn't happen in the first place. That's like saying just because no club in Scotland voted for you to be shoehorned into the top divisions, the SFA didn't try and make it happen.

Secondly don't go on as if McCall saying he didn't want it to happen, after it happened, means he didn't. Even if it was entirely by chance, it was advantageous to Rangers. Of course the club wanted it to happen.

And considering you support a club that threatens violence and launches campaigns for people to lose their job any time they refer to them as a new club, it is amusing that you would brush off a legitimate complaint about sporting integrity and imply these clubs are exaggerating. If asking for a fair fixture list is "tears", what is the mouth frothing rage whenever you club's history is referenced?

Was 2008 the year that fixtures were rearranged to suit Rangers but you guys whinged and moaned that they didn't suit you enough so you rewrote history pretending that no rearranging was done at all?

Oh really you are going to talk about my clubs support threatening violence when we have had you clubs fans putting in the windows of a referee or hiring private detectives to follow officials etc. please do not presume to lecture me on the history of my clubs support while blatantly ignoring your own clubs failings

The people who did that are scum.

See how that doesn't change anything I said?

Remember Ally publicly DEMANDED to know the names of the people on the independent panel, even though he already knew them?? He knew what the outcome would be.

Remember Regan stating that there would be civil unrest if Rangers* weren't let into the leagues. They knew what the outcome would be.

There's only 2 clubs in Scotland with that toxic reputation, and one of them is in the process of liquidation.

How did ye do in the Ramsden Cup since your reincarnation?

BTW, did ye reincarnate as bears again? Or did ye come back as another animal?

Surely Ostriches would be the new animal. Heads in the sand and all that.

Has Dave "Lying" King invested a penny into yet??

Good history book of a once dominant club in Glasgow, killed by the greed of their players and management

I would have tried harder if I'd known it would be this easy :D

At least you can always have next year to have a go at that treble. Fourth time's a charm surely.

Third times a charm to have a club.

A rangers* fan slagging Celtic about not winning the treble is like a homeless guy slagging you about not having an ensuite.

Which version of Rangers are you supporting again?

Tough day for Celtic not winning the treble, one of the hardest honours in football!

Even Dempsey can't do better than the 'lolz your club died' patter, quite disappointing really. :)

But I understand your point, it must be extremely difficult if you are a goal up at half time with your strongest team on the park, against a team who are miles behind you in the league and who had a team made of free transfers.

A team knocked out of the League Cup by the worst Rangers team ever.

You forgot the bit about the 3 officials who seen nothing in the closing stages of the 1st half thus giving a helping hand to ICT.... nothing to see there at all

    Just honest mistakes really.

Exactly like when Caley should have had a penalty in extra time.

I thought I was on your ignore list?? :pac:

No difficulty at all, refs make crucial mistakes and the other team rides their luck. Happy to be at that end of the game than in the abyss!

ICT are a team that deserve their success and I was actually smiling watching John Hughes at the end, you could see some Celtic players that didnt know who he was.
