I'm 402 months old now so I stopped that sort of thing a while back :)

I don't think I'd ever see myself stopping insterting pointy things into my face and ears though :D

But in all seriousness, if it means something to you then go for it and get tattoos and piercings and all that. I just don't get why people do it just because it looks cool or fits in with their image.
I mean I'm not a boring old fuddy duddy type or anything and I got a piercing a few years ago when myself and the GF were visiting her cousin who works with the Maasai in Africa after we went through some "trials".
Her cousin even ended up marrying one of the local Maasai warriors last year.

Anyway, what I mean is do it if it means something not because it matches your most recent shirt :)

If anyone wants to do the Maasai thing let me know and I'll sort out a discount for you. It's of course in Kenya and a pretty cool thing to do.

I'd agree with you for the most part. I've always had an interest in body mods since begging and pleading my mam to let me get my ear pierced when I was 4. In those 16 years I've had maybe 30 piercings and 8 tattoos so it's always going to be something I'll do and have no intention of stopping soon! I'd love to have pretty much full tattoo coverage with the exception of my face but that's not for until the distant future when I've established myself in life. The way I see it is you've only got one life so just go out and have fun and do what you want. If you want to get something to match your current style then go out and get it, why not?

This is some deep conversation yo!

    Cool,
I thought you would be either a cage fighter or hairdresser, I went with the wrong option :)

I could cage fight, probably, but I don't really want to train!

Pricing details and hopefully more info coming today for the WiiU.
So far its 26,260 yen (about 260 Euro) for the base model with 8GB of storage and 31,500 yen (about 315 Euro) for the premium version with 32GB of storage in Japan with the official Euro and US prices to come later.
Just going on the stated storage sizes I'd say we're talking solid state here and not a standard hard disk.
Out in Japan on the 8th of December.

Also, system has 1GB of main memory and another 1GB just for games.

A second pad for the Wii U has been priced at $170. Half the price of the console, insanity. I'd quicker save up & do a Steve SI on them at least you'd have one for upstairs and one for downstairs then.

Also if the joypad costs have the price of the console, I'm not overly optimistic about the power of the console itself. It's already outdated before its released, but the component cost must be really low...hmm, not good. Anyway, I'm sure it'll be brilliant, it's Nintendo after all. But I'm staying well away from it until next xmas or at least until there's a Zelda offering.

Hopefully they're trying to make up the cost of the internal components on the system with a high cost on the extra Wii U pads. As far as I know the Wii U pad is mostly a dumb device with just a screen and probably some very basic components inside.

Maybe so yeah. Can't see them selling many of them seperate at that price

The only thing that gives it an advantage over the current gen is that it has more RAM.

Does it no longer take SD cards? I'm not sure I'm seeing the advantage of the 32GB model.

Quite damning, given its being tagged as a next-gen machine. I think it can only be consider next-gen in relation to the Wii, not in the general sense.

I think it still does yeah? If your not allowed store DLC/Digital Downloads on removeable media {like the way the 360 limits you to 16GB regardless of storage size} then the 32GB might be more 'future-proof'

I'm sure it will have some very nice games but no, I don't think I'll be thinking of it as next gen. Sure I never even thought of the Wii as current gen and it lives in the retro area of my room connected to a CRT even though I have the component cables. It just looks better on a CRT because its basically an old Gamecube in a shiny new suit.
