Did Sera not get that from Japan cause I remember a Sailor Moon trend, right after the contra one.

Just read the article there and I see now. Some interesting games in it, might try and get one or two of the megadrive ones.
Defintely going for Capt. America despite it not being one of the best ones there.
    Thanks for the link.

Nope I was trying to get a different one, it's a beat em up but looks different, what I got was either same kinda game but different again or the puzzle game. I forget

You've cleared it up for me with that vague and confusing recollection of yours.

    Did he have a moustache?
Yeah he did but it looked different, or it was kinda a moustache but looked different or maybe it was a toupee. In fact now that I recall it, I forget.

Kicked off my little 80's horror short movie project tonight (after many months in planning). Five hours filming around the Sally Gap area with 2 DSLR's (Nikon D4 and D7000) , 1 Sony Pro camera (Sony PDW- F335) and most importantly for a dark action scene, a Red SCARLET-X for some beautiful low light 4K awesomeness.

I really wish I could afford to own the SCARLET-X but its just mad money and renting is the only option for these. Luckily I have a friend who could loan me some of the accessories for it so that saved a few quid.

More filming at the weekend (in Cavan) and it will be the first time I'll have retro gaming gear in the shots (child playing a C64 game in the background).

Anyone recommend a good game that would have been around in the summer of 1986? I was thinking Ghosts 'n Goblins, Gradius or Green Beret.

On a side note, I almost dropped the SCARLET-X before it was secured to a rig and nearly had a heart attack. I'm also pretty sure some wee came out

I was thinking about that when going through the list of games from '86.
I'll add it to the maybe list.

    That's cruel Steve!
And best forget about the year and use something iconic instead, IK or Uridium for example.
Or use a Nes so you don't have to load the game to begin with!
Then again, this is 1986 in Europe, so make it a Master System!

I cant forget about the year, it has to be 86' or earlier. So Uridium is probably ok anyway.
Plus I think most people I knew back then had computers at home like the C64 or Amstrad instead of consoles.
Loading the games wont be a problem as I'll have the option of loading from Tape, SD card or if it all goes pear shaped I can use emulation and make it look like its on the real deal.

Anybody here manage to get CoinOps4 up and running on their Xbox?

Having loads of issues even FTPing it to the console at the moment. With no rom packs loaded of course because I don't own every single game for every single console ever.

    Aherm...

How many episodes are there? I think its on the US Netflix too

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 33,733 ✭✭✭✭Myrddin

What was the story with the US Snes psu connector again? Someone mentioned here a while back that you can't plug a PAL psu inti the US model as the connections are different. Then someone linked to a gender changer/adapter for the psu that lets it fit

Can't find the post tho :(

I loved the 3 part episode where he jumped into different points in one girls life.

The dad from Alf was in it.

Is there a bluray release of that yet?
I'd love to watch it again, but in HD.
