Well I think Ronnie seems to be my only option in the EU at the moment (all the websites I've been looking at want a hell of a lot more money)

But he only really has New Net Cities - and at the price they're going for, you'd really REALLY want to like them. I do really like them - but not as my first choice. And if I were spending 900 euro I'd want my first choice :)

The guy in the states replied about that AWSD on ebay and he's asking me to confirm my address...!

    This may be promising...

Agreed, fair whack of cash so it's best to be sure esp after the initial excitement dies down.

And that's before postage too! So you'd be talking 1100 in total.

I've just realized the lad selling that Atomiswave isn't anywhere near the east coast of America - he's in Utah. I always just assume people live on the east coast :D

Would imagine shipping will cost an absolute fortune. Sure I'll wait and see, said he'll get back to me in a couple of days with a quote.

If there's an island that is farthest from Arcade Cabs, we're on it

I'd gladly brave an exploding rainforest, lined with AK-47 armed bears on all sides if it meant I could have all the arcade cabs I want :(

400 euro about for egret 2?

An **** that, I'm throwing down 6000 for that Darius burst!

  • Registered Users Posts: 309 ✭✭purplec

For 400 euro you would at least get a shell, condition would be very low and they would probably need a lot of work add import taxes shipping storage and fees on top and it would be around €1000

Ah right, you could surely source a better one for that price on AO or some place

I just opened my wallet to check if I had $20,800 Australian dollars inside that I'd forgotten about.

    I don't. :(

But on the positive side that much cash would probably ruin the shape of my wallet. Especially if it was in coin. :)

Tempting, I'd assume the Egrets are in a half size container 20', is that price FOB?
90 cabs would make an awesome arcade :)

I'm still working on my batch of candies from Japan but the seller is a bit of a pain at the moment as I'm not over there to push him myself.

Could be months off at this stage :(

When it happens there wont be any problem getting any of the standard candies like the Egrets, Atoms, Astros etc. I've been over and seen the stock myself as I said before.

What kind of price range so I can start a saving account for it :)

I don't really want to go into that much until I can say "Hey, I'm ordering 15 candies in the next 5-6 weeks, who's in?" as I don't want to let anyone down.

But that being said, very minty fresh Egret 2's are going for 200-250 with nice screens with zero screen burn. That doesn't include delivery which I'll get into once the deal is on.
Why so cheap? Because I'm not making any profit on them myself and that's the normal price you'd pay for a second hand Egret 2 candy in Japan.

By the looks of current supplies, I'm probably months off one myself. So I'd imagine you can throw my name down for an E2 too.

Although if they're going that cheap, I'd almost be tempted to throw out the fridge and make room for a second! :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,779 ✭✭✭Jack burton

I just got rid of my cooker and fridge, who needs that useless stuff! I want candy!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,750 ✭✭✭ghostchant

I have no space for one at the moment, but feck it I'll figure something out - I'd also gladly relieve you of an Egret 2 if it works out :)

Get rid of the sofa too - sure you'll spend all your time sitting on little mini stools in front of candy cabs. No need for one.
