Haha don't blame me if it loses haha, been going to Harps 20 years and still never know what to expect with them!

We've got 13 points at home so we are hard to beat there....unless you're Dundalk.

Cheers lad! Home and hosed #kerching!

Had Houston FGS myself @ 14/1. Thanks to PP for settling it as a loser. On the phone first thing tomorrow :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,040 ✭✭✭Guffy

Cobh v drogheda corner line is at 10 atm with under 10 at eves.

Im actually gona take the 10.0 Asian at 1.85. Drogs have hit the ten mark once while cobh have rarely broken the 6 mark. The last time they played 5 was the total.

Cobh v drogs under 10.0 Asian @ 1.85 med stake

    UCD -v- Cabinteely 7.45pm

    UCD -1.25 (GENERAL) @ 1.80 - MEDIUM STAKE

    Athlone -v- Shelbourne 7.45pm

    Shels -1.75 (GENERAL) @ 1.70 - MEDIUM STAKE

UCD went off at -1.75 and duly obliged. :D

Shels lose 1-0... possibly the worst result in our 125 year history!

Just one pick this week, not a great week and as per the last couple of weeks European fixtures are playing havoc.! Me and the 3 lads have picked the following bet. No detailed write up for the umpteen time on Limerick so just a simple bet.

    Limerick -v- Cobh 6.30pm Saturday
Table toppers play 4th placed Cobh, who sit 20 points behind and a 48 goal difference between them with just 16 games gone.
Limericks home record is 7 wins from 8 (with one draw) and scoring 34 goals!
These sides have met twice already this season in the League, with Limerick coming out on top in both 6-1 and 3-0 respectively. They've also met in the League Cup which Limerick won 4-2.

Limerick -2 Asian Handicap (GENERAL) @ 2.00 - LARGE STAKE

Refund. After 2 goals in the first 30, I thought this was good enough as won.

I'm off on holidays for the next two Fridays, but the lads will be posting the bets in the Facebook group if someone can copy them over. ;)

What's the story with Wexford Youths? Do they not have supporters?

It's impossible to find news about them, no preview for tomorrow's game on their website, nothing on the internet either, their Facebook page is dead, noone comments or likes anything on their page, what's going on with them?

Small provincial club, they've a fan or two in the LOI thread in the soccer forum. We should be beating them tomorrow though, we don't have too many absentees and have been quite good at home this season. A game we need to win to get some momentum going again. Extratime.ie should have a preview up at some stage tomorrow.

2-1 to GUFC at ht. We've dominated, should/could have had 4, they scored from and are playing for set pieces.

Ucd game ynder 10 corners @11/10 medium

Ucd game under 10 corners @11/10
    Waterford game under 10 corners @ 21/10

    Very small double

Limerick v Shelbourne. Limerick to win to nil @ 13/10 with PaddyPower.

Limerick won 3 of the last 5 home games to nil. Shels have lost 5 of their last 6 away games to nil.

Draw looks a good call in Sligo v Derry 23/10, can see a score draw, not a whole lot to seperate the pair on form lately and it's a TV game so it's bound to be a dull tight game.

Finn Harps over 1.5 goals 5/4 , watched Wexford against Galway last week, shambolic defending at the moment I would fancy any side in the division to score a couple against them, Theyv conceded 13 goals in their last 6 games which is about 2 per match

With ucd winning 4-0 cashing out at 7 corners for 68% profit

    Edit... letting double ride out

Setanta know how to pick horrible games 0-0 draw in Sligo , harps played extremely poor, beaten 1-0 and created little

Limerick won 2-0. Shels had a pen saved which was the last kick of the game! Limerick should have been about 5 up at that stage. We'll take it! :D

Derry v Limerick BTTS @ 4/5. League cup semi final. Derry scored in 14 of last 16 home games. Limerick scored in 24 of last 24 games in all comps (albeit mostly in the 1st division).

Limerick are flying, but this will be a very tough test at the Brandywell. I think we'll score.

Limerick won 1-0. Absolutely fantastic result for us. Derry failed to score for only the 3rd time in 17 home games.

    ***LEAGUE OF IRELAND BETS***

Two picks this week with brief writes up courtesy of Aidan and Alan!

    Shamrock Rovers -v- Longford 8pm
As we've said Rovers have been playing much better as of late since the sacking of manager Pat Fenlon, They have put together some pretty good results during this spell under their new manager. Rovers in their last 5 home games have won 3 & drew 2 games, the 3 in which they won all covered the -1.5 handicap. Rovers sit 6 points behind 3rd Derry who hold the last European spot currently but Rovers have 2 games in hand in which they must gain maximum points to catch Derry. The incentive is there for Rovers to beat Longford well.

Longford on the other hand sitting in last place, they have put together 2 draws in their last 2 games and are slightly improving, although both draws against poor opposition. Longford are still struggling very much & especially in defence. They are by far the worst team in the league and we feel that a hungry Rovers team looking to catch up to Derry to try and get that European spot should have far to much at home to Longford.

    Shamrock Rovers -1.5 (GENERAL) @ 2.00 - SMALL STAKE

    Cabinteely -v- Cobh Ramblers 7.45pm

Cabo in Stradbrook would normally be a game to avoid for us as the pitch was in such a bad state games were such a lottery. However, vast vast improvements to the playing surface have been made recently which may level the playing field (pardon the pun) for travelling teams.

Cobh are desperate for points to keep in touch with those above them in the playoff spots, and after a morale boosting comeback last week against Waterford, we fancy Cobh to take maximum points this week to keep their challenge up.

Cobh win (GENERAL) @ EVENS - SMALL STAKE

Any thoughts on Galway DC? Surely the Dundalk players must be tired after the CL game plus the celebrations?

They will use their squad and change the team a bit. They have a nice squad who will be eager to impress , I wouldn't back Galway DC, I expect a low scoring Dundalk win .

On our day we are very good but if Dundalk turn up in the right frame of mind then you'd expect them to nick it, we could scrape a draw though, we have done largely well against the top teams at home this season.

Wouldn't bet against Dundalk this season at all.
