JC had a great start to the season, but now a lot of his rides will be repeats, so the odds will be lower based on previous form.
With 9 rides tomorrow, your bank can disappear quite quickly.
Also, you get the 'Frankie' effect, where people will be aware of his season stats, and the bookies set his prices lower now he's above the radar.

If you're not betting with real money, then continue the exercise, and well done on picking him from the start.

If you are, there comes a time when you have to decide to get out when in profit......

Sorry for interupting your thread, which I've also made some money from, but just my advice is to have a slight rethink now.....

I had a grand reply typed out but it wouldn't load and I'm too slow and crap on the old pooter that I'm not going to try again!!

Long story short, I'm a bit more jittery and unsure about it now but I'm going to persevere for another while, albeit with more cautious bets. If its on a constant slide I'll stop it and withdraw profit to bring me back to my original €100, from where I'll start another log for which I have an idea. My cut-off point will be €250 thus guaranteeing €150 profit which I'll be delighted with.

Keep the suggestions coming, great to see that more than Mike and myself are watching the log!!

Right. Now I've gone and done it.

Following my balls-up, the balance was €423.79 but should have been €22.50 more. A brief lapse of discipline has made me do something silly for the one ride he has tomorrow.
