Nothing tomorrow for Crowley but Richard Hughes is back in action for his father-in-law Richard Hannon at Lingfield. He's there for just one ride on board Numeral (on which Jim Crowley has won in the past) in the 3.55 so I'll be having a bet in-shop on him. Forecast price is around 10/1, I can see that disappearing.

George Baker is also there for just one again, Dorothy's Dancing in the 2.50.

These will be my two bets for tomorrow depending on price but in the main I'm waiting impatiently for Crowley to get back in the saddle.

So at least one has to win or it's a bit of a disaster. Betting seems to be tight enough so even though these three are all around the 5/1 mark, they still have 3 or 4 above them in the market. Ellie in the Pink is currently fav but it's a competitive race. Fingers crossed, will need a bit of luck to come out with profit today.

Yeah this log is all with PP. I haven't looked at that, my betting knowledge is fairly limited. I suppose I want to keep things simple in a way. Ultimately I want to see how worthwhile it is to follow Crowley, I want to see if it would be worth devoting a bigger bankroll of a grand or two to see if it might pay for a holiday or car tax or whatever. Nothing's guaranteed, I know, but he's been good for my pocket over the last few years and I want to see how I'd do with regimented, disciplined betting.

Felt under pressure after Great Huzzar and Rodeo gave 100% successful tips on their logs! Crowley delivered to make sure today's logs on this forum were unbeaten. Shalambar was returned at 4/1 and seems to have won well.

Not great today, Jake the Snake drifted a lot and his run reflected this. Was always struggling and couldn't match the rest.

I thought Desert Strike was unlucky twice, seeming to get held up behind horses twice, the second time he looked primed for a burst and a gap that seemed to be opening closed again denying him a run.

Bedibyes ran a cracker, held up off the pace and staying on well down the rail in the last furlong. A little gamesmanship might have seen him close off the Hanagan horse's run to win but Crowley ain't like that I guess. Still, I'll take 2nd gladly.
