Since I heard on here that Jesus drives a Renault, I always give them a bit more distance on the road!

Some interesting stuff from Poland. Some scumbags tried to get insurance payout by hitting cars on the road where traffic was supposed to yield to the traffic coming from right. The reason camera operator was keeping an eye on them was they spent there some time trying to hit (this was 4th attempt).
There was 3 people (including child) in Calibra, all OK. Payout was 3k euro, but they didn't have much time to enjoy the money, as theye are awaiting trial. SDome result.

Here's another undertaking one from today on the M1. The Peugeot driver was a bit of a lane hog and Nissan had had enough. As soon as a gap appeared he undertook. Not sure if the Peugeot was aware or not but seemed oblivious.

So why did yourself and the Nissan stay in the overtaking lane when there was nothing there to overtake?

    Double standards, methinks.

No Nissan driver didn't give the Peugeot driver a chance to pull in. Then both of you driving in the overtaking lane, Tut Tut...

You might want to view that vid for more than 5 seconds ...

I was overtaking. The PUG was travelling around 105. Hung back as I could see what the Nissan was at. Increased speed as soon as PUG pulled in, overtook it and pulled in after overtaking it.

After the Fiesta and truck, nissan undertake the Peug and then pulls back into the RHL, our video guy stays there.

Would you rather he pull in a couple of feet after the other car?

He had long past the car.

Ok I'll bite. :D 1-14 seconds was me overtaking Fiesta+Truck. At 14-22 secs Nissan does his undertaking stunt and there was no way I was pulling in to join that mess. 21-32 secs I overtook and then pulled in when past it.

He had long past the car.

4 seconds after being nose to nose by the end of the vid, what looked like about 15 km/h closing speed between the two at a push, gives less than a 20 m gap between the two cars. I wouldn't consider that a safe separation distance

That's what I thought, but a lot of people seem to think "30 seconds?":

Was the biker just pissed off coz he was in the overtaking lane?

That was so stupid ... the speed of him still when he eventually hit the tarmac

And the cheek of the driver to look at his "damage" while the biker couldn't even lift himself off the ground!

Car drivers isn't one of the smartest too... Not only kept driving in left lane, but first thing he did was to check his car for damage instead of running to the biker.
Biker was at fault, didn't see any break lights, but whatever was the reason of his road rage he should have been realized it isn't a pick-up he drives.

    2 crazy inconsiderate drivers.

Wow, stupidity from both sides there, if it came to it, I feel the video would work to the riders benefit in court as the driver doesn't appear to brake before the crash, and his lack of concern for the rider does speak of a premeditation to hit the biker the next time he braked
But saying that why on earth would you try to brake test a car on a bike.

there's higher quality copy of the video here, you can clearly see the biker braking (LED's, so don't come out well on video) both times if you watch it in HD.

hard to tell (even in HD) if the car braked at all before the impact, but i'm still utterly baffled that the biker thought that 'brake testing' someone in a car was a good idea though?!

Didn't see brak lights but did realize quality of video may affect this.
Fact is he could go away, instead he decided to fight with a car.
2 morons in my opinion, but biker - hope is OK regardless -played big part in what happened there. What biker plays with cars like that?
Crazy, and it only shows what people are capable of when on the road.

Perspective; Peugot driver was aware there quite clearly and just pulled in a bit too sharpish having realised his error if nothing else.

Why didn't you let the driver get out of the Octavia OP? Shocking lack of courtesy.

He had plenty of room to swing his door open. Dash cams don't often give a good perspective of space. And here was me cutting the video down so no one could find something to criticise me on! :D
