All of you know exactly what I'm talking about. There are of course going to be inconsistencies, and as usual on boards you have people picking apart parts of any argument to receive thanks or sound smart. Give it up. You wear a tracksuit with socks tucked into nike trainers, you are probably a knacker.

You wear a leinster rugby jersey, chinos, dubarrys shoes etc, you are a D4 head or at least want to look like one.

You wear tight white jeans, tight tops with fur collars knee high leather boots...you are probably an Eastern European woman or want to look like one.

Just admit it, we all stereotype and there's nothing wrong with it. Our clothes say a lot about us, who we are, who we want to be portrayed as. The people who wear the clothes know exactly what image they are sending out. It's fine too...although I'd much rather meet the tight white jeans class than the tracksuit class.

It's society, you all know what type of clothes will say what about you. If you want to be unconventional by wearing tracksuits in public, go ahead, but you will be judged. By me, by everyone. It's human.

Hey you're entitled to your opinion but don't drag society down with you. Just because you're small minded it certainly doesn't mean we all are.

I must admit I prefer women who usually dress well ( non tracksuit) and only

use a tracksuit for running, ( most women do make a great job of dressing well)

but what really gets my disgust is men who eat their nails , no matter what

    they wear!......

I wear the odd tracksuit. Im originally a northsider from finglas, but live in ballsbridge now, close to work. I get the odd look but I honestly couldnt give 2 shíts what people think about what im wearing.

Ive met more ignorant mannerless fúckers in suits out this direction than i ever did in finglas.

Got a twinge just reading that. Rather a woman looked like that than wore those garish blouses you usually see, or worst of all, a pudgy woman in a gaa jersey. Omg.

Only three types of people wear tracksuits

    1) Knick-knacks
    2) Athletes / Sportspeople
    3) The mafia guys who choose not to wear suits.

or people who get sick of wearing jeans all the time and want to wear something more comfortable. Although full tracksuits do look knacker like.. I'd only wear a tracksuit pants, probably not the jacket.

    It's true.

    We are all prejudiced.

Ultimately, it's about survival. If we see someone walking towards us, our brain pre-judges that person. If they are a 20y/o male, wearing a tracksuit they are perceived as more of a threat than a little old lady.

    It's just nature.

Considering the bodies underneath those clothes, I think we need a LOT more of them in the country.

Plus, less pudgy lasses in GAA jerseys means more space for all!
