Perhaps the OP is so morbidly obese that no other clothes than trackies fit?

Because apart from people the size of a small house, the only people I ever see wearing tracksuits are athletes and skangers.

depends really on the person and the type of tracksuit, anyone young can pull them off.
Oh yeah remember the ones with all the buttons up the legs?

They were popular with the scobes as well.

Why do people give a **** about what other people wear? Who gives a ****?

Because people are very uncomfortable in their own skin and when something they believe gets attacked they get very defensive as they believe their beliefs are what they are and its the only thing they have as they are to small minded to look at the bigger picture.

I think it depends on how you wear the tracksuit on the fact you're wearing one ..

Example 1 : Full tracksuit with matching top , runners that cost more than said tracksuit and socks tucked into tracksuit = nacker

Example 2 : tracksuit with dubarrys and a labeled top = nouve riche

Example 3 : fatmans mixed with any type of clothing . Under 25 years old its ok , over 25 and youre a slob

Example 4 : tracksuit pants plus teeshirt at gym = normal person

    *guide may require more work

I like comfy clothes when I'm at home - which includes track-suit bottoms.

A retro tracksuit top with jeans is grand.

A full sports tracksuit in public when not going to partake in a sports event is a no no for myself.

    Each to their own though.

I depends. Most scumbags wear tracksuits, but that doesn't mean most people who wear tracksuits are scumbags.
You can tell the knackers better by their inbred look and uncouth behaviour.

whatever about tracksuits , i simply dont see the point in the whole pyjama style

wearing a full mckenzie tracksuit is nackery but wearing some hoodie with adidas original bottoms isnt knackery
I love the genius of high street brands.

"Here, walk around advertising our company name, and pay us €50 for the luxury"

Isn't it funny how a pair of Canterburys and a Hollister hoodie means something totally different to McKenzie tracksuit... all of equally rubbish quality.

Just the idle musings of a passing stranger...

    As you were.

Fret not James, you don't need to explain yourself to us or those youths on the bus. How were they to know you were wearing your going out track suit as opposed to your gym attire.

They are my choice of clothing most of the time as they are the most comfortable .But i was on the bus back from town earlier and i heard a few guys basically calling anyone that wears tracksuits as knackers. These lads were dressed very metrosexual and had a very annoying D4 accent

I was then thinking to myself how in the hell could these eejits judge people by how they look and what they wear when it looked as though these guys just raided jedwards closet!

They judge people on what they are wearing because they are eejits, as you said, OP. Eejits who clearly have way too much time on their hands.

Personally, I don't wear tracksuits but I would if that was what I was most comfortable in and I wouldn't give a damn what others thought about it - I'm not asking them to wear it.

My advice - wear what you want and to hell with the fashion victims.

    After Hours... posh?
Think you're in the worng forum mate
    Actually, he's not.
It might not be posh, but it is full of people who think they are better than the rest of society for one reason or another.

A simple example would be the fact that I'm better than all of you because I'm not a ****ing prude, and would have no problem not wearing clothes of any type if it was not illegal to walk around naked.

That and the fact that it's a bit chilly at this time of year.

A few weeks ago someone here tried to insult me by insinuating that I was sitting at home in tracksuit bottoms.
I wasn't, but could have been. Even if I was, what business is it of others what I wear or what others wear when sitting at home?

There are people who use this forum and believe they are better than others by way of where they live, who they are employed by, that they are employed, where they went to school / college, that they went to art college or whatever makes them feel superior to everyone else.

The fact is that they are really insecure, and choose to judge people on their choice of clothing.
There are a lot of extremely insecure people using this forum as a way to make themselves feel better by putting others down.
    I just did that. :)

That being said, wearing pyjamas outside is just wrong.

Also, Bertie never wore a tracksuit. Nor did CJ.

Well done you for sticking up for yourself....
I wear tracksuits at times, reasons being I work at a job were I am required to wear a suit so being comfy is great.
Also I gym a lot and as a mum of 2 tend to do the household shop after I get a gym session in.
People can be narrow minded and the best thing to do is ignore them as it's them with the problem!!

I wear "Full Tracksuits", I just feel comfortable in them, I also wear Air Max runners, far from being a scumbag too funnily enough :D:o . Many scumbags who dressed in suits caused most of this countries problems, :pac:

The only time to wear sportswear is in the gym.
Why would you want to look like a knacker?
Its like wearing a hoody, pyjama bottoms, and UGG boots in public.
I think this breed of people should be taken out by a sniper.
The other option is sterilising them so they cannot breed.
    Clothes maketh the man.

Surely wearing something that neither constricts your tummy, breasts or butt is the way to go - comfort wise. Then try going around naked. You can wear a smile :D

I think you'll find the correct term is "Tracker Knacker" :p I agree though not everyone who wears a tracksuit is a scumbag, they're usually easy to spot as most of them seem to wear the hood up even on a hot day. I personally wouldn't be seen dead outside the house in one!

That's undoubtedly true; there are also lots of people who because of where they are employed or not employed or where they went to school / college have a most tedious chip on their shoulder, and incessantly assume, out of order, that others are castigating or deriding them.

Nobody likes a snob, but nobody like an inverse snob either.

I think the OP is in danger of falling into the latter category.
