Ya I've used it a nice bit but usually with the bow. I've a few different classes with it.

Like most weapons it's all about getting the first shot in.. you miss that and the majority of the time you'll be punished no matter what.

Just had a quick game online with randomers. One guy got downed 4 times in 2 mins and quit. Another quit after 5 minutes. No one replaced them and the other team were like a pack of peedators with bows. We got mauled. Death to those p×ssies who left us behind!

Got this game there last week and I think it brilliant, I've just over 90% complete on story mode and haven't downloaded the dlc. (Is it worth it?)

I didn't realize that this game was released over 14 months ago and my question is.. Is there many ps3 players playing mp on here as I'll probably be finished the story by tomorrow and be getting stuck into the mp.

DLC is absolutely great imo. I wont say anything about it whatsoever so as not to spoil it but the SP DLC is a must buy. The multi player DLC is great IF you are into it :P

I generally would buy mp dlc packs but my thinkings on this game is because its so old that there wouldn't be much activity as a fair chunk of people have moved onto the ps4.

Oh yeah sorry didn't realise you were on PS3. There's still a very decent amount of players on it! Its just difficult to play without mates on it.

Finished story mode last night.

Overall a good story but

I thought the ending was fairly poor and far too easy. I always think that the final battle in a game should be toughest test.

In the operating theatre scene at the end I thought the developers could of gave the player a choice whether to kill the surgeon or not and added an alternative ending.

While i'd agree i'd of liked a "choice" in what way to apporach the ending i absolutely loved it and was literally thinking about it for days afterwards.

I'd still do the same thing as Joel in the end regardless :-)

You do get a choice at the end,

You can shoot just the one surgeon or be a heartless b*****d and shoot them all

Was doing great on survivor and had a load of ammo, got to the Capitol building and got caught so I killed everyone and have no bullets left.

Does Ellie give you some bullets when you're low like on hard? It's gonna be a struggle for a bit if she doesn't!

On "grounded" i literally dont think she has..unless i just havent noticed as there is no HUD to speak of

I haven't seen it on grounded either. The worst thing about no HUD is not being able to tell how many uses an upgraded melee or shiv has left.

She gave me ammo and health a few times on hard. During the first bloater fight, she gave me a few bullets.
