    Well, I was at the Duff McKagan gig tonight and so I'm not going down without a fight. A girl even made my night whend me she thought I was 28 or 29 and I know what you're all thinking, that she was just saying that to get me into bed, but I'm telling you she fecking meant it. Course I'm typing this and she is most likely sucking off the bassist of Loaded in the Gresham right now, but I'm trying damn it, I'm still trying.

    Knew I was getting older when I would watch The Frontline instead of whatever American programme would be on Network 2... or is it RTE 2.

    Listen to NewsTalk instead of the obnoxious young radio stations.

    Only getting that older feeling since aged 31 or 32 - thank god. Would hate to have felt the need to inflict auldness on myself in my early/mid 20s. That must be crap.

    Couple of years ago I finally came to the conclusion that I can't drink if I have work the next morning.

    In my 20's I could do it no problem but not now. I think I'd have a breakdown.

    Also, can't stand the madness of SOME people in their teens/early twenties. Between ridiculous American-ised accents, ****e taste in music, lack of respect for others, I find myself shaking my head at them every now and again.

    When I was 25 and filling out an application for something...can't remember (is this a sign of old age?), and I had to tick a box for my age category. The first box was 17-24, the second was 25-32 and so on and I ticked the second box. All I could think of was the older end of the spectrum, "****......I'm in a CATEGORY WITH 32!"

    Now I'm heading for the 33-40 category :(

    I stopped trying to keep abreast of recent pop music.

    I stopped being discerning about what type of biscuit I had with my tea. I still have favourites but once I have a nice cuppa I don't care what type of biscuit I have with it.

    Getting concerned now did I too think it whilst I felt it? and consequentially looked it, too. was defo older when younger. but naive as fûck nobody be goin doing anything drastic is all I can say on the grounds of being "past it" reaching your full potential means waiting it out old man... at 21.. lol
