That would be my assumption as to why they would have removed it. Some thinking they could crash/fly/blow it up and its something that instead of leaving it in and disappointing some, (which isnt an exaggeration, i still try blasting the plane with an rpg in 4 every now and again) they could have removed it altogether.

Yeah, but look what happened to Mass Effect when they started indulging fans...

Rockstar wants us to play as these three protagonists. They have their reasons. Frankly, it's ignorant of you to continually say "I won't be playing as that guy. He looks stupid." based on a few screenshots and vague descriptions.

No definetly not, Besides, the video isnt put up onto youtube for a few hours. The trailer will be on the Rockstargames.com/v website first.

I remember i had to wait nearly 20mins for the first V trailer to stream fully. Bloody annoying it was. I didnt want it to play...buffer...play...buffer etc etc so I just waited. I imagine this will end up happening again so I might just watch the live stream on IGN.

Lots of discussion about this over on GTA Forums. Make what you will of it but id say its almost definetly a fake.

Too similar to the San Andreas map. Same design (colours etc) and everything. The GTAIV design was much different than those before it. SA wasnt too different from VC, but IV was quite a bit different than SA.

The scale of the airport towards the rest of the city is too big. The city is surrounded with desert here even though it should be green. No sign of railway tracks and looks too much like the map style of gta sa. Fake.

I'll never understand why people make these fake pics or maps. The amount of effort and time it must take, when most people these days just easily debunk them... What's the point?

I can't help but feel that if some internet trolls actually put their skills to good use, they could actually really achieve something great.

The average age for a 'gamer' is something like 37 nowadays isn't it? The guys who make the GTA games are around that age and the game, the humour and the cultural references are all pitched perfectly for the 30s age-group, IMO.
