    I noticed the manager on Linkedin sharing his upcoming redundancy so as much as the sales staff might be accommodated elsewhere, if they could be, managers are caught in a more difficult one.

    Not nice for any involved nor is it good for the street either. Another empty building.

    That's interesting. I wonder if the fact that so many pubs are opening across the city that they're feeling the pinch. A lot of the night life seems to be moving up towards the Catherine Street area too.

    Beside is the playschool Angel lane & then is the cattle mart icon.Office did a nice crowd. Always a fine pub. The bouncers in 101 Connell street are turning into smiths bouncers refusing people for no reason. Mostly men.

    That's because they probably are Smiths bouncers. 101 is owned by Smiths/Enright.

    I haven't been to Icon in about a decade 'cos of that policy they had. I'm surprised they're still at it. 10 years in Dublin and never saw anything stupid and ridiculous like that. It's so pretentious.

    I was stopped (sober) in the company of two Gardai (sober) by the bouncer in 101.

    Not tonight lads, we're full.

    Two minutes later in walk a few others.

    They deserve to close. Pricks

    Went to House and had a great night

    That's the one yeah. Generally don't venture down through Parnell Street to get to town so I only spotted it yesterday.
