I buy lots of my meat as reduced too, but I'm always checking the color of the meat. Mostly it's grand ;)

I'm interested of finding out more about tesco policies, but where can you find out more?

Anyway I love this thread!! :D

Dying to know the yellow sticker policy you're referring to... Thanks.

I know about the double the difference policy, but does anyone know about OTHER policy's.
As posted earlier, we are being watched so PM's might be the way to go.
Over heard staff member talking to another about yellow stickers and stock not on shelf's and if you knew about policy (something to do with quantity) could be adventageous.

Don't want to say too much but heard that a F'er does this all the time, I know a bit more but not saying for now.

    Share please through PM's.

    This is wrong.^^^^^
    Tell one, tell all.

    Tell one, tell all.

Tesco Ireland employs over 14,000 employees

I'm sure many of them are members of boards.ie and not just watchers.
Some of them probably have their PMs already sent off. :)

Cadbury Tiffin bars 39c in Midleton today.
    Golden Crisps scanning full price
    Didn't see much else

Actually... there were small(ish) bottles of dove shampoo for 77c not marked as special offer, didn't take much notice though

That's to allow two hands to comfortably squeeze into the bag so the fingers can fight it out! :D

The bag sizes also seem to be getting reduced too. it says good to share on it but they don't share much with the customer. Most of the bag seems to be composed of air.

    Stop this PM-ing crap..

    .. it's childish!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭MickShamrock

Yes, what's this big secret? Thanks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 741 ✭✭✭Stripey Cat

If you find a product with a yellow sticker, take it to the checkout, and when they say do you have a clubcard, say: "I wouldn't join any clubcard that would have me as a member" in the style of Groucho Marx. They will then give you the product for free, and throw in some green meat and out of date Mint Crisp.

Keep this to yourself though. If everyone does it, there'll be chaos.

oh come on with this crap, there's no secret or yellow label policy. lets keep an eye on the real bargins, and IMO mint crisp bars aren't a bargain so move onto something new that people are actually interested in buying.

  • Registered Users Posts: 741 ✭✭✭Stripey Cat

I think somebody doesn't like Mint Crisp...

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,468 ✭✭✭matt-dublin

love them, but don't think its a bargain.

my idea of a bargain is something that will make my dinner cheaper or buy me a bigger tv, 10 cents off a bar of chocolate is hardly a bargain

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 18,115 ✭✭✭✭ShiverinEskimo

Have 5 mint crisps for dinner and save 50c.

Those MintCrisps are normally €1.57, so they are 75% off at that price. That's more than 10c, it's eleven and a bit 10 cent pieces cheaper
