    so Roche made it in to the break then somehow dropped out of it whether deliberate or not and then his whole team starts to ride after it when it has 6 minutes!!!

    As already said....peloton wasn't prepared to let a break go while he was up there....he fell back and then the whole peloton stopped for a piss in turn letting the break away get away!
