    Same here. Sometimes it can hard to build up the same rapport with someone in RL that you have with them online. But not with her.

    She was 21, just turned in April. She got food posioning in Indonesia and had breathing troubles was brought to hospital but unfortunalty nothing could be done at that stage, her friend is still in ICU.

    Thoughts are with her family and friends, too young to go, such a personality, Roe you will be sadly missed, irc and boards wont be the same without you :(

    For anyone who didn't know her , she was an amazing playful lovely girl who was life and soul of every room she was in. I'm so glad i met her . I still can't believe it :(

    Degsy was the one who gave me the heads up on her tragic passing.
    Didn't know her too well myself, but we did chat about our mutual love of Pearl Jam on a few occasions.
    My neighbour was a close friend of hers and is devastated.

    I've never heard a bad word said about her. A tragic loss for all of those who knew her.

    Roe was as mad as a bag of cats and twice as fun, crazy smart and a joy to be around. She went off to Indonesia to teach English for a year, was due to come back soon enough and then head back to renew her contract to stay for another year.

    There is nothing right about this, there never is when someone so young passes. However having spoken to some mutual friends we are all in agreement that she lived every moment to the fullest and on her own terms, which in themselves were just as unique as she was. :)

    Just came across this thread by mistake crazy....

    I actually didnt know the girl was on boards and i didnt know her really well but i met her on another site and did talk to her for a good while have her on msn and all.

    Just goes to show u never know whats round the corner must be horrible for her family and friends.

    She was the first friend I made on boards when I joined, very loyal and brilliant friend in real life since then.
