What are they in Lainy? I would imagine not, but then don't hold me to that.

The pocket guide only has them in oil too, it says 100g = 7PP but then it also says 1/2 a pack (50g) = 2PP, bit confusing...

woke up to a lovely stress free house this morning. Sun shining.....and mum is gone away on hols! Free reign in the house and kitchen!

So got a tonne of laundry on!

Making savoury muffins later, cheese + tomatoe 4pp each :)

Its just so much easier to do ww when she's not around watching everything i do...complaining about everything thing i do....."the oven is on....AGAIN.....the washing machine is on AGAIN"

and every single time I go to start cooking or making anything....even a fecking cup of of coffee...she'll start brushing the floor or something....HELLO....can you not wait 5 mins till I'm finished cooking or something.

But i have freedom for a week :D Can wash all my stuff....and not worry about her wrecking it in the wash :D She's ruined so many of my clothes (and of course not replacing them)

So now i can get all my stuff ready for cape clear :D have it all washed and ironed....in PEACE!!!!!!!

Sun is shining.....:) It's a gooooooooooood day :D

For coffee/tea drinkers.....50ml of skimmed milk is 0pp :D if your just looking for a dash of milk in your drinks...and you cant really tell the difference between types of milk in coffee whenits just a dash....you can get 500ml cartons of slimline milk....and keep that just for your coffee/tea :D

PS: Thank you so much for all the lovely messages and comments last few days! This place really does help so much! So I just try to give back what I can...helping other ppl where I can really helps me stay on track! We should totally have like a ww boards party next summer :P

sundried tomatoes in OIL is 2pp per 25g

HA in your face mum! you make tomato bread with the ready made stuff.....well i make tomato muffins from scratch! HAHA! :D

    4pp per muffin and DELISH!

    Hi all!

I have been checking in on this thread for months now but haven't posted until now. It's a great resource so thanks to all who contribute :)

I have been doing WW on and off for over 6 years with pretty good success but as I get older it gets harder to keep the weight down! So I need to committ myself a but harder now. I'm finding propoints great, it's not getting the weight off any better (maybe a tad slower) but it's certainly way more sustainable in the long term. Slow and steady wins the race methinks!!

Anyway I hope to be able to take part in the discussions on here and learn a bit more :)

I've been using these for ages and tried looking up the website and everything. Gave the packet to my leader and she couldn't find out either. She told me to point them at 0pp because typically you aren't using a lot of them and you are usually dividing the recipe into four or so portions so the amount per portion is negligible!

Had a very good weekend exercise wise! Have earned 23pp since Friday  between a Step Aerobics class and a 10k Run of Hell yesterday :( Seriously the worst 10k I've ever done - it took me 1hr 10mins, I thought I was going to die.
On the down side, I did not have a good weekend foodwise. Ate a lot of crap. Little bro turned 18 on Sat so had a little party for him and despite saying I would avoid all of my dad's cooking, I didn't :o So ended up over the whole weekend, using all of my weeklies plus 2 activity points. But back on the straight and narrow now :D

Heya! Just wondering if anyone knows how many pp in a bottle of lucozade energy?? I'm absolutely hangin here in work and need a fast kick that isnt coffee or red bull!! :/

  • Registered Users Posts: 123 ✭✭Dublin25

    Hi All,
    Hope your weekends were ok.
Mine was ok, limited choice on foods and i'm picking like there is no tomorrow!!! Can not for the life of me stop that, I'm also not pointing it. Terrible i know, but haven't touched my weeklies, so perhaps I can use them to cover it.
I did however stick to my points but still feel like i'm gonna have an up at this weeks WI.

Need to try kick start my motivation soon.

Woooo hooo I'm so calling them 0pp so if a ww leader said its okay to :P like it was 60g over 12 muffins! so only like so like 5g of them per muffin really :P :D

So i think that'll make the cheese+ tomato muffins 3pp each :P (i'll check and let ye know)

Been looking online at treadmill options this morning. Argos have a sale on some at the moment, small budget of less than €500 for this - just want it for walking when the weather turns bad, already during icy conditions my 2 hour round commute for work turns into anything up to 3 1/2 hours so I won't be taking to the roads for a walk after that.

Been eyeing this one up as it's totally within budget - any opinions welcome please!!! http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/3357695.htm
Or if there's anything else ye would recommend it would be very welcome!

    Thanks in advance!

I would seriously advise against argos! every bit of fitness equipment we got from them we've had to send back, get replaced....or hold it together with duct tape!

With treadmills its two things you need to look at....well for me it was....maximum weight capacity Vs Budget.

Crazy Fit At Home Are a really well established and have won a few awards I think. When we were driving thru tip few weeks ago getting the puppy they were advertised Everywhere...they are like the Mahers Sports of Tip!

The link, is for the one I have....i needed a BIG BIG Maximum weight capacity treadmill! We did have problems with it, it kinda tripped the house, but in fairness the guys drove down to cork....during the Ice at christmas time within 3 days to replace it...and its been working like a dream since! And they could not apologise more! oooh and the one i have folds up too so when you need the floor space it can fold up and tucked into a corner....and a nice throw put over it! so its not starting at you and judging you when all you wanna do is watch tv :D:D:D:D

I've had horrible experience with other fitness machine companies...and actually ended up losing hundreds of euro! I would totally suggest this place! Totally professional,

Hope ye all had a good weekend guys!
I did, but drank way too much Saturday night so no exercise for me yesterday! Have been to the gym this morning and going to a Zumba class later! Feeling really nervous about WI tomorrow, was good all week( except for my booze binge!) but have a feeling all the meals out over two weeks previous are gonna show on the scales!

    Hi Folks,

Does anyone still have the voucher that we got in class this week for the Knorr Shake & Bake? I bought the Rustic one and am making it for dinner tonight. I can't remember what the pp were though. I think it was on the front of the coupon! Can someone check if they have it? Thanks :D

    Hi everyone,
I just joined WW 2 weeks ago, all going well. I lost 3lb's my first week. 2nd WI this wednesday. I have fallen off the wagon this weekend though. I had some socialising (drinking!) to do and today, I can't stop eating! Reading this thread gives me the strength to go on, I know I sound like such a wimp as I'm not even 2 weeks in. I ate a sandwich that I really shouldn't have so I'll walk more tonight.
Thanks for all of your tips and inspirational stories.

Thanks! :D Did it have the points on it for the recipe on the back of it too? I remember something about 5pp but not sure if that was for the recipe? Sounds very low to me!

Yeah i seen that on it too! Dont know what that is about! I think it may be points per portion when you add the other stuff but that is very low if you are adding chicken because the chicken alone is 4 points although if 3 or so people were having it then that would be right, 4 for chicken fillet and 1 for a third of the pack!

hmmmm trying a pesto pasta dish tonight for dinner....its a general recipe a friend gave me....which means a spoon of this....spoon of that...

going to try it tonight...using actual measurements and try to get a point freindly tasty version :D

its pretty much just philly, milk, and green pesto sauce in a pan and mixed into cooked pasta.....he doesnt use "measurements"

I'm going to make it Lidl Linessa Light Soft Cheese and Skimmed Milk :)

Caros, adverts.ie have a good few treadmills, second hand but still in good nick. You should do a bit of research into what is good because I have heard some bad reviews about when people buy cheap treadmills. Might get a decent one for cheap on adverts.ie.
