21 laps on the harder tyres should be doable after not much less than that on the softer tyres surely?

The flintstones were always alright ;)

    yep :)

too much wear on floor probably won't pass scrutineering either, but maybe its just the splitter part damaged

Perez with the fastest middle sector on old tyres. :L

Hamilton's car needs to be treated gently for the next 19 laps. I strongly doubt Hamilton's ability to treat a car gently...

yep, all the strategies seem pretty conservative

maybe Webber will get advantage at end

Why aren't the RB's using KERS? Is it a start only system?

He nearly managed that many on the softer tyres.

As Brundle just mentioned the laptimes are a fair bit up compared to last year, perhaps the tyres are more limiting than was being let on.

Lol at Coulthard after hearing that team radio saying 'try to get by, try to get by'

'Now there is something he probably didn't think of'

webber on soft, alonso on hard, hope its good battle

Does Perez have to pit again?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

Hope Button runs Massa off the road. :)

Button within a second of Massa, Webber and Alonso should get to Petrov with a few laps left.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,513 ✭✭✭✭vectra

    LOL
Petrov beating Alonso and he is not holding him up this time

    Go Petrov :D

Yep, just spotted on the graphic that he's only made one stop
He's on the harder tyre and would presumably started on the softer tyre

I think Button only one making use of drs advantage, two passes at end of start finish straight

I meant the tyre types, if he's had both on he'll be fine.

Some very stupid attempts at conservative strategies today.

Sauber looking good for a double points finish, Perez lapping faster than the leaders

I've noticed the drivers are being stupid and using the KERS around the lap so it runs out for some of the front straight before recharging at the S/F line so they're not getting the full benefit.

Go on Petrov.. Keep Alonso behind you

Massa really is annoyingly inconsistent. He spent most of the race just plodding around, and - at the very end - he was by far the quickest car on the track, even setting the fastest lap of the race. It's as if he woke up fifty laps too late.

Just out of the leaba, is the race any good? I'll have to watch the highlights later forgot to sky plus it.

Only because he was on fresh tyres and low fuel.

Was alright. Interesting rather than massively exciting I'd say. :)

Not one of the best races ive ever seen

Would have been better if Vettels cars ended up in pieces

    Really cannot stand the git

Great for Sauber and nice to see Petrov on the podium
