Seems like the last corner is the one that Button can't get the power down on.

Its a corner that you need all the front grip you can get and when you're running behind someone you clearly lose all the grip making it even more difficult to make the move into the first corner. DRS should have been used in the run to turn three

    massa should have pitted

Or just let them use it when they want. It's the main thing that annoys me as with KERS, talking about development etc. yet putting a huge limit on the usefulness.

Under investigation, wait 20 minutes then try to make them swap positions. Get some feckin NASCAR stewards in already! :pac:

Going to guess that Vettel won't be getting a penalty for going two car-widths off track?

nice pass from vettel, was thinking same about off track pass

    Lovely pass there by Vettel.

Hamilton looking very awkward on the first lap out of the pits, some difference between his and Vettel's outlaps.

He didnt shorten the track by running wide he increased the distance he travelled so there will be no chance of a penalty, even though it lets him keep full throttle and gain an advantage

Yeah but I love how the lower formulas punish drivers for trying the make every turn indy a Daytona turn but in F1 they don't see it as giving as big an advantage. There were a few races last year the stewards were warning about people widening the turns but of course nothing came of it.

wonder how long Button can stay out on those tyres

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

Not sure why Button pitted already, a few more laps and he could've one-stopped easily.

Love to see a replay, at least a car width off-track nevermind keeping two tyres near the track.
