    Sete at Welkom in 03 was the only other time for me in obviously very similar circumstances and hopefully Aegerter can also hold on for his first podium

    Brilliant podium Pirro winning for Gresini, Kallio back on form and Aegerter getting a well deserved podium stepping up after the death of his own team mate last year, Brilliant

    Bollox :mad::mad::mad: 4 out already.

    Edit: Bautista (maybe after contact with Dovi) took out Rossi, Hayden and de Puniet

    looked to me like Dovi drifted into Bautista's front wheel under braking

    Good thing is no one was injured

    anyway only 24 more laps before we can say good riddance to these 800's

    You see Davi start to slide from the engine braking and he drifts the rear tyre slightly into Bautista's path who has nowhere to go and touches Dovi and then locks the front tyre and then the bike folds away from him into the path of Rossi, RdP and Hayden. Unfortunate but a racing accident

    Wow what a finish, 0.015s win. Spies must have lost a lot of drive coming out of the last corner

    It was certainly different. I was over on Friday and the atmosphere within the paddock was muted but also you could feel the solidarity. It was a very different atmosphere than when I was at Silverstone but it was clear that everyone wanted to remember Marco in their own ways and move on.
    For the riders it was wearing a Marco crash helmet, or a 58 plate or sticker. For many within the media it was sporting a Simoncelli background on their laptop or a 58 badge on their shirt.
    The tribute was fantastic and a great way to send off and remember a rider who while not always loved by everyone on the racetrack was always respected for his speed and determination.

    I'd love to see Stoner go on and dominate for the next couple of years.
